Visited here for the first time on a hot day this summer, and wished there was better air conditioning. But the meals we had were SCRUMPTIOUS. Garden side salad was robust (NOT just limp iceberg and a cherry tomato). The chicken fingers were plump and juicy (NOT sad little flat breaded fingers from the freezer). The onion rings were spot on (I love the thinly sliced rings with crispy batter...and the sauce was great too). My cousins said his chicken parm sando was very, very tasty. (He ate the whole thing!) It was seat yourself upstairs, with regular tables and some high tops. No booths (fine by me; I prefer a regular table anyway). The noise level was fairly high, and they have board games and two pool tables and a couple of pinball machines...so the vibe is relaxed and fun. My only recommendation is that our server, who was SUPER friendly, just needed to pay a little more attention to detail (I asked for unsweetened tea, but got sweet tea. When I asked for it to be switched, they said they don't have unsweetened tea. I asked for a Caesar side salad and got the Garden side...not the end of the world, but details matter). That being said, I'd eat here for sure next time I'm...
Read moreGreat service by Alysa (sp). Possibly, the worst food & exaggerated prices (given the tiny size & mediocre taste) in NH. I ordered the ceasar salad for $14, which was the size of a side salad at best. Shockingly, small!!! The taste was less than satisfactory as it was heavily soaked in dressing. My crappy salad & 1 beer was $26 before tip. My companion ordered chips for $8, which was literally a small handful of greasy nachos with a very small serving of salsa; that was all, nothing else but chips and watery salsa probably from a jar. Our server was kind enough to give him some beer cheese at no extra cost, which helped. I go out 4 nights a week, including to many high end restaurants and hundreds of breweries and this is the WORST! Check out my thousands of reviews and you'll see I have only given 1 star perhaps 4 times in 20 years. Seriously, this place sucks, other than...
Read moreThe bolognese was not prepared well - huge chunks of canned tomatoes with very little actual tomato sauce with very large chunks of sausage. Also, there was undercooked eggplant chunks in it? And the serving size was pretty small - especially for the price of $32.00. The mushroom risotto was delicious except there were very rubbery stems that should not have been included. So a little more attention to the food prep (especially the sauce) would have made the food much more enjoyable. The waiter working the bar was not familiar with a lot of the beer that we inquired about for the flights. So unless changes to the food quality and prep I would not go back or recommend...
