I had high hopes for this coffee shop being in the heart of Meredith across from the town docks. A++ for being dog friendly and family friendly. Outside seating was a great option. Beautiful decor inside from local artist.
Service was extremely slow and sub par, girl working the register clearly had no desire to be there and seemed very annoyed. Guy making the food looked bored and didn’t seem to care the product was low quality he was putting out.
I get it’s a local coffee shop, but $40 for a small iced caramel macchiato, a large iced caramel macchiato , avocado toast, and an OG breakfast sandwich is a bit excessive and in my opinion NOT worth the price or the wait at all. Coffee was outstanding, food…….not so much. Avocado toast was the tiny ends of the loaf of bread and burnt to a crisp. Was asked if I wanted seasoning on it which I said yes, but definitely did not have any on it. OG breakfast sandwich looked like it was run over by a steam roller and also burnt to a crisp. After waiting almost 40 min for the burnt sandwich and burnt avocado toast I didn’t care anymore just like the staff (note I had no one in front of me in line and a handful of people sitting drinking coffee. I immediately realized a problem when I saw a couple get their sandwiches well after they finished the coffee they had.)
If this place wants to succeed service needs to be faster, food quality needs to be at a minimum of 3stars and not -1 stars, staff should be friendly and willing to help and not just standing around. I’ve visited many food places but not sure I would recommend my followers to this establishment. I’ll consider giving it another chance but it will be a little bit because they really need to work out the kinks here. I hope...
Read moreI don't know where to start. I guess with saying I know the store and staff are all new and it was busy so I'm actually being more understanding. Let's start with the fact that the menu displays weren't working and I was told that no, the online menu is not the same, so I wasn't sure what could be ordered. My drink ended up being fine, but nothing else was. My partner's iced mocha had no milk and the mocha flavor was all at the bottom and couldn't be mixed in; they ended up not being able to drink it because it was so bad. We also waited over half an hour for our food (two avocado "toasts"), and it was only that short because I asked where we were in the queue and a barista hurried to make something (she was very apologetic). When we got them the bread hadn't been toasted at all and I wish I'd just asked to have those refunded because it certainly wasn't worth the wait or the $7.50 each (we could have gone to Dunkin and had better). I live walking distance and I'm honestly not sure I'll be back (certainly not until...
Read moreI grew up in Meredith and when I come “home” with my family I am always excited to try new places, especially that serve coffee. I was skeptical from the moment I walked in. None of the cofee menus were working, nor did they have paper menus available. I ordered 2 iced coffees, I wanted cold brew but they were out. I was given warm coffee poured over ice. The ice was melted by the time I got back to my car. The coffee tasted so awful I could not drink it; and I’ve drank some pretty terrible coffee. I was expecting gourmet treats. My 3 year old has her heart set on a donut. The food display was scarce. The cookie (they did not have donuts) was the only good thing about the trip. It was delicious. But outsourced. SUPER disappointed. The staff… there were approximately 4-5 teenagers working. One young man knew what he was doing. The rest.. not so much. One of the girls had. to ask a co worker to take my order because her...
