Quaint neighborhood spot, initial reaction, excied, place was spotless, clean looked like a magazine cover, buffet is 12.00 add the bbq for 3 extra, we chose buffet only, brazilian quisine flavorful and delicious, i rather have a smaller choice with quality dishes over a huge buffet with tasteless bland freezer foods. The salad portian was beyond your typical sliced veggies, there was a wonderful cold cicken salad to die for, and nice fresh veggie selection, and again clean fresh presentation, the hot section had a delicious array of 2 kinds rice , along withblack and red beans, then meats chicken was gorgeous brown crisp skin and seasoned nicely, there was a beef brisket and some other meat, of course plaintains and there was a wonderful mashed potatoe with cheese, again everything laid out nicely, hot veggies there was some dishes i didnt know the names, but only one issue, someone didnt place the food description signs in proper places, so a couple of choices names were a bit confusing, this could be overl, ooked, because i en joyed the experiance, , i was very happy with the friendly staff, will be eating there again,,I was to full to order dessert, but next time i go which will be sooner than later ill have ro photo ,, I hope more people frequent this nicely run establishment and in support, i enjoyed it so much i expect it is,going to be my go to eatery on regular basis, will share to facebook and some...
Read moreTook 10 of my buddies here after a round of golf. They were skeptical all week, but they quickly changed their tune during our meal. The aroma of the grilled meats hits you immediately when you open the door was intoxicating. That was just a brief senory appetizer to the whole experience. The buffet items are delicious, the rice is incredibly tasty - highly recommend adding the egg on top - the plantains were tender, and the meat options in the buffet were just as good - pork shoulder, chicharon, i think chicken if i remember. You can just do the buffet and be well satisfied. However, DO NOT SKIP THE GRILL ITEMS. The steak was incredibly seasoned, tender and cooked perfectly. The spicy sausage was popping with flavor. The beef rib was the best thing ive eaten all yer. The seasoning was on point, it was beyond fall off the bone tender and had this seasoned like crust to it that added an amazing texture and a ton of flavor. If you want an incredible eating experience, and are tired of the standard chain fast casuals, you must go to this place. The staff was so nice and attentive. We had a 6 pm reservation but we were about 40 minutes early and they were unphased. I had never gone to banana brazil before, i have been to a few other brazillian steakhouses, and this by far is the best i have ever had. They do have beer and wine, and a very abundant selection of...
Read moreMeats were good, but the salad and side options were lacking.
I have been to other Brazilian BBQs and while they were all the all you can keep varieties (while this one gives you the option of all-you-can-eat or by the pound) but at the others I have been to there were always hard cheeses, prosciutto, various sauces to try, plethora of salads and sides…..this one had only a few options.
But it was $25 for all you can eat while my wife got a single plate by the pound and that was $15 so for the price it was not a bad deal. I’m just used to more options, especially since I am on Keto there were few sides I could have.
The last thing I will mention are the lack of real plates and fountain beverages. There were bottles and cans of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages but no fountain sodas (there are special beverages they make there but I’m talking more about Diet Coke or seltzer from a fountain). And (as pictured) there are no real plates but all take out options or paper plates (that easily get soggy).
I may very well go back, but my expectations will...
