Boost Mobile — Local services in Meriden

My Motorola started saying I had no SIM card so went to this Boost store. Explained my situation to "Sy" (I think, sorry), very nice guy, and he took a look at my 2yr phone and said I had to get a new one. Gave me 2 choices in my budget cuz I wasn't expecting this to happen, either another Motorola or go back to a Samsung again (my prior brand). Went back to Samsung as it had features I liked better. He told me that the monthly price will go up to $50+tax which bummed me out cuz I've been paying $25+tax up til then BUT he said after 3 months it would go back down to $25+tax as long as I make my payments on time monthly. That sounded odd since you have to use autopay but took him at his word. It's been 3 months now and I looked at the Nov payment coming up and it's still going to be $50+tax! Used the Boost Mobile app, which wasn't easy to finally text with a live human, and told my story to Josephine who then tells me I need to go back to the store since that's where I bought the phone. Now "Sy" had said he was from the New Haven store so I don't even know if he'll be there but whatever, I'll go. And to top it off, this Samsung Galaxy A16 just sucks, ugh... Not a happy camper anymore with Boost even though they've been the best carrier I've had so far, even better than...
