Family Pizza — Restaurant in Meriden

I usually order from them all the time they were always good up until these few months when I ordered. 1st bad experience was when it took 2 hours to get here figured it was a hick up so I let it go and gave a good tip anyways. 2nd bad experience I order 24 wings and recieved half as drum sticks full grown drum sticks I couldn’t believe it that was just bold for them to do like people are stupid and don’t know what a wing is. Probably trying to save money because a drum stick is a fraction of the price. 3rd bad experience I ordered a large pizza and they accidentally made a party size pizza and called me and informed me and asked if that’s ok and I’m like “yea if I’m still paying for the large” replies “no we are going to charge you for the party” so I declined and asked for a large. 40 mins later they show up with a party size pizza with half of it missing. So 3 strikes in a row. I’m very disappointed in this place now has gone way down hill. I gave it two stars because it use to be a decent pizza house. We just ordered food from this pizza place. The delivery time.was very fast. The delivery driver was so polite and professional. I didn't get his name but he had a grey car. He is a valuable employee for this pizza place. Because of him we hope he delivers our food he seems very trustworthy. For food we ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and meatball. We also ordered hot wings and a meatball grinder and soda. The food was amazing. All the food was a perfect temperature and fully cooked. The pizza was absolutely amazing. It wasnt all greasy, the ingredients where very great tasting. The wings omg they where so perfectly crispy and exactly how hot I wanted them. The meatball grinder was a nice size and quality. We are very pleased and will be ordering more food from this place. We hope everyone's exsperience is as pleasant as ours. It was all well worth the price. I live 3 min walking distance away from this place. And it took them over an hour to deliver 2 sandwiches. They forgot the fries. When I called to ask if I had been charged they argued that I didn't order it "deluxe" even though I said curly fries several times when placing the order and she repeated the order back correctly but when I called about the fries she argued that she never heard me say that despite everyone in the room heard me ordering them several times. The apartment buzzer wasn't working and instead of calling when he couldnt get up the delivery guy said he waited downstairs for us until someone let him into the building. This is NOT the first time I've had problems here, they are always rude, not delivering what has been ordered and always arguing. The customer obviously is never right when they order...
