Jimmy's Pizza — Restaurant in Meriden

I have lived in Meriden for about 5 years now and can safely say I have tried every pizza place this city has to offer. My fiance included. One night our usual place was closed so we decided to try out jimmys. We were definitely impressed. The pizza was not burnt, overdone, extremely greasy and had pools of sauce like some of the other places we had tried. My fiance used to get bad heartburn after eating at other places and this is the first place he does not. We have officially made jimmys our place and have saved their number in my phone, deleting the others. The workers that take our order are always polite and explain every time they are busy and will take long they make sure to let me know up front. We won't ever go anywhere else unless Jimmy's goes away which I hope doesn't happen for a very long time. Thank you to Jimmy and family for serving Meriden...

Have been a costumer since opening. Over the past 3 months we have received orders not made to how we had ordered them, unless Jimmy is in the kitchen, which you can almost always tell. My aunt recived a grinder tonight that was burnt beyond being edible. We had called and asked for a replacement, and they took the grinder back (it had already had a bite taken out of it, to see if it was at least edible) and my grandma had reported that she had talked to someone from the restaurant, with no resulition. I was also told it was mentioned they were going to give the grinder they took back to a homeless guy down the Street. I am leaving this review because Jimmy is an awesome guy, but am hoping this review can leave feedback for him. I have genuinely enjoyed doing business for the past few years, and hope to return...

Tried Jimmy's for the first time last night and it was amazing. Ordered the sausage peppers and onions pizza with cheese garlic bread and a side of blue cheese for pick up. I never knew this place existed and I've lived in meriden for years. Saw someone else's review on Facebook and had to try it. The sausage was very flavorful on the pizza and yes I know that sounds weird to rave about but it was delicious. I said light on the onion and they were perfect with it. Thinly sliced peppers were a great touch. The cheese garlic bread came with a cup of marinara sauce as well without me asking for one which I've never gotten from anywhere else! Husband picked it up and everywhere else always forgets my side of blue cheese. They already had it ready with my order. Will be ordering again, this is our new favorite...
