A good sign of a Chinese restaurant is when you walk in the door and you're the only White person in the place. That has happened multiple times I've been here. The menus also offer minimal guidance for non-Chinese speakers, but the food is very fresh and good. Granted, I haven't eaten broadly from their menu. But what I've ordred -- mostly partial to homestyle pork -- has been great. Service is also friendly. I consider this one of the hidden gems of East Lansing food, regardless of cuisine. This is a must stop and eat! We had the ramen bowl filled with 7 veggies or meat also to our liming of spice we wanted. I even tried tofu for the 1st time and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was and how much I liked it. We also got the peppers steak with a side of rice and let me tell you the gravy and steak were 🤤. Also tried a new alcohol as pictured that was dangerously delicious. We had a great time when we rented the medium sized karaoke room. However, i’m a little disappointed with the way the bill was handled. I was told it was $50/hr and after that we would be charged by the minute. I went out to ask how much longer we had and was told we had 14 minutes remaining. So I went back into the room and told them we had 14 minutes left. When I came out to pay the bill after 14 minutes I was charged $50+ $14.
