Subway — Restaurant in Meridian Charter Township

I have been to this location 2 times and had a bad experience both times. I will not be going back. There is one employee in particular, his name is Alex I believe, who has treated me like an inconvenience and been very rude both times I was in. All of the other employees that were there both times were fantastic, so accommodating and nice, but Alex was terrible. The whole idea is that you tell the employees how you would like your sandwich and every time I told Alex light or extra of something he rolled his eyes and huffed like a teenager. And then today he argued with me about how I wanted my sandwich. I wanted the chicken strips put on without being warmed up and then have it lightly toasted. His response was to argue with me about the fact that I needed them microwaved first. No, that is not how I wanted it and the chicken is already fully cooked so it's not a safety hazard for it to be just warm. And then as I was eating my sandwich for lunch at work I bit into a bite and nearly broke a tooth on the bone that was in it. I thought that those horror stories were reserved for places like McDonald's who do not boast to having fresh and amazing product. I have never personally had a gross experience with fast food grossness like this though. It was disgusting and I could not take another bite. So there was 8 dollars wasted. An excruciatingly terrible experience at this location. I think I will be done with Subway for an undetermined amount of time and if I ever do go back it would never be to...

I'm only giving this a three-star and I should give it a one-star just to give notice because they stop selling the veggie patty. This was one of the few branches that carried it and now they got rid of it. I heard that the owner maybe they changed was vegetarian and that's why they had the patties because a lot of the stores don't carry it and the reason why in my opinion that they didn't sell was because they never had it on the actual menu up above that you look at. I know I have been in other subways and when I asked about the veggie patties other people in line will say yes that they wanted it also so Subway listen up there's people out there that want the patties being a vegetarian and eating all lettuce on a piece of bread is not fulfillingthree slices of cheese come on give me a break Jimmy John's gives you a ton of cheese to fill you...

Just started going there and it's usually OK but just had a very bad experience. There was a woman and a man working, and I went in with my two children after Taekwondo class. My 6yo daughter wanted a tuna sandwich. The guy snapped at her "Do you want that TOASTED?!" She didn't know what he meant, so he glared at her and then said "Do...you...want...it... ... HOT?!" My son noticed that a set of keys was left in the drink machine, and he thought they might need them or not want them lost so he told them and the guy snapped back "So?! They're SUPPOSED to be there!" like my 9yo son would know. I cut the order short and we went to Big John's down the street for the rest of the food and our drinks.
