Yello Waffle — Restaurant in Meridian Charter Township

We were pleasantly surprised to find this little gem! We had no intention of walking into the waffle restaurant because we were headed to the nail salon. The aroma was out of this world… So we couldn’t resist ourselves and walked in. The owners greeted us with a warm, friendly smile and explained the menu and the process to us. They were so gracious and gave us a complementary waffle and let me tell you, this was the best waffle we’ve ever had…By far!! There really is no comparison. They have so many flavors/toppings on two different types of waffles. They have a Brussels waffle which is a light, fluffy, crispy deliciousness and a classic liege waffle which is a little denser more like a pastry but super delicious! They’re both winners, but the Brussels is extraordinary! You must try them both for yourselves! On top of it all, they were so kind that they delivered the waffles and coffee to us at the nail salon! (which was adjacent to the waffle shop) You can’t beat the service and you will not find it anywhere else! We will definitely be back! 5 stars all the way! My wife and I wanted waffles after church. We were going to go to Anna's House which we love but we knew they'd be packed. So, I Googled waffles near me and they showed up. The offerings looked inviting and everyone loved the service so we decided to go.

I ordered the Dark Chocolate Brussels waffles and my wife ordered the Strawberries and cream Brussels waffles, a Chai latte and hot chocolate. Light, fluffy, and crispy.

Very tasty but it's more for snacking then a lunch...we left hungry (we are both used to feeling full when we eat out). Just a small thing...my wife wanted to order some Liege waffles to go around 1:30 and they closed at 2:00 and they said no as it was too close to closing to make them. They did have three left so we bought those. They remind us of dense cookies...very good.

With everything it was around $45...we thought it was a little pricey for what we got but everything is expensive these days, the ingrediants are high quality (see my photo of the ingredients), the food is very tasty, service is great, and the atmosphere is clean and inviting. We will...

The waffles were good and I was pleased that they had so many coffee options. Here are my opinions on what I think may be beneficial. I think adding a waffle with butter instead of cream would be good for butter lovers like myself. They have a menu up on the wall, but it's only partial and there are no physical menus that can be looked at. They do have a full menu on one of those touch screen computer things, which I found a little frustrating because I personally don't like electronic menus, and it sits right next to the register. Its positioning can be frustrating because it can make it very crowded by the register if someone wants to order through that while someone else is ordering at the register. I also felt like I was holding up the line while looking through the entire menu that was on that computer and not elsewhere. I just think it would be beneficial to have a couple of menus that can be held and contain the entire menu, because there are a lot more options than what is seen on the wall. I hope that all...
