We saw a new restaurant under construction in Meridian. We were excited it was a Bad Boy Burger as we have always wanted to try them but the other locations weren't feasible to drive to. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by Jaide and Anetrina. Being our first time, we had many questions about the menu board and food items. We were impressed by Jaide's nonverbal communication. She looked us in the eye when we were talking and when she was talking to us. We felt like our business was truly appreciated. Shortly after our food was brought to us, Anetrina the manager started checking on customers in the dining room. When she came to our table, she asked how the food was and if we needed anything else. Anetrina's courteous demeanor made us feel valued. I ordered the Monday special of a Colossal Burger (pastrami burger) fries, and drink. The burger was made to order so it was hot and fresh. The fries were thick cut and hot. I was very pleased with the food and customer service. The cherry on top of this great dining experience was the cleanliness of...
Read moreFor a burger joint, I was unimpressed. FROZEN spongy meat patties which were tasteless! Counter girl asked if I wanted my patty melt to be a combo. I said yes. ........combo anywhere else is a sandwich, fries, and drink. I substitute onion rings for fries cause she asked fries or onion rings? So I chose onion rings. Then she asked me if I needed ketchup or fry sauce. I said fry sauce. The onion rings rang up as $5.99 and my drink was .50 and the fry sauce was .50. I said are you sure this is the combo price? She said the patty melt is $8.99 and the "combo" is the onion rings and drink. What? Never heard it presented that way. So I spent $16 and it was the crappiest meal I ever had. I ate half of the tasteless burger and maybe 4 onion rings. I walked out and was very disappointed. As a "BURGER" place, I would expect better. Better , real burgers and more transparency in ordering. (Tell me...that's extra) the only good comment I can make is that the onion rings were plentiful. I will not be back and I have told my family about it and they are...
Read moreSurrounded by businesses this is still pretty well hidden from the street, I hope enough people find it that the location does well. A former Dickies Barbeque spot off Overland in Meridian, they have been open since April. Met Pepper, one of the original skateress servers at Rockie's Diner, who took our groups orders, answered questions about the fresh cut onion rings, the ample zucchini strips being fried, and the rest of the staff seemed friendly too. Our orders came out quickly. We brought twenty people in our group, there is plenty of seating available. The onion rings were thick cut, with panko breading but could use some spice and salt. Better to add at the table than try to take away. I liked my double cheeseburger, pretty juicy with the sauce, all the portions were huge. Looking forward to...
