Hyatt Place Boise / Meridian — Hotel in Meridian

I’ve never left a review of any kind but this was the most unbelievably poor, horrible customer service from the Assistant GM SHANWNTAE REVELS that I have ever experienced with anyone in or out of the hospitality industry…. (This review makes you give them at least 1 star, but I would give them negative stars if I could.)

I wish I would have video recorded the interaction, it’s still literally unbelievable how unprofessional and unwilling to make any effort to help solve an issue that really wasn’t a big issue. All I asked for was to add my name to the bill because my wife booked the room and forgot to put my name on it.. I was here on business so it was something I needed to expense during my business visits there in Idaho. I paid for the room with my credit card but this insane women was adamant that nothing could be done?? I mentioned that we’ve done this before with Marriott and they resolved the issue immediately… When I mentioned this she literally lost it and blew up saying I was threatening her with how Marriott handles issues?? She literally said she was going to kick me out… (Just to be clear, I never raised my voice or said anything derogatory but looking back now I probably should have.).

If this represents the type of people who Hyatt Hotels hires and promotes to a “Manger position” I will never stay at or spend another dollar with this company. Still can’t believe how this women (SHANWNTAE)...

This was the greatest hotel experience I’ve ever had. Facility is pristine, pool and hot tub are amazing (heated pool is open in the winter), I loved the breakfast buffet. Fresh scrambled eggs, sausage links/bacon depending on the day, waffles, donut holes, different breakfast potatos/hashbrowns each day, and even tortillas to make a breakfast taco. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, plenty of room to put stuff. The bathrooms have walk in showers instead of tub showers. The location was great (Meridian is awesome) and the price was an amazing deal for staying at a brand new hotel. The staff could not have been nicer!!!! My husband and I travel for work and we go to Meridian 4 times a year and this is where we will be staying every time....

Just completed my stay here. This was the best experience I have had in a hotel for years. Newly opened in October, this place was exceptional in many ways. The people were incredibly friendly. Amy and others at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar that was included was awesome, full menu. The fitness room was the best I have seen outside of the Westin, which is my favorite. Rooms were well appointed and temperature easily controlled. Shower was nice as well. They have an outside heated pool jacuzzi that is open year round. Can’t wait...
