Black Rock Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Meridian

Disappointed with the new staff members, placed an order yesterday 20 minutes before arriving to the store when I walked in drinks were still not made. barista were kind of standing around, I informed the barista that I would step outside and be back in about five minutes for my order. When I came back into the store, my drinks were finally ready, but not mixed properly and made incorrectly. I ordered a blackberry and raspberry fuel which was not mixed correctly. I also ordered a mai tai, and they did not add orange juice. I came back into the store just seconds later to inform the barista that my order was made incorrectly, the blonde girl just stared at me for a few seconds, and told me they could pour orange juice on top of it, which they proceeded to do and overflowed the cup made a mess and just added way too much orange juice making it disgusting. Overall, I’m just not very pleased with the new staff members. They’re just not taking it too seriously...

Coffee was good I'll give them that... but the ambiance was not what I would recommend for anyone that's not a super athletic and hip.

The flies in the establishment drove me crazy. They have a pull up wall that is rather cool, but there is no fan to keep the flies out.

It was "random" give away day. I was there 30 minutes and we didn't get anything, which is fine, but every (literlly) person in there got something except me and this other larger person. When asked it was completely random. Then the next skinny person got a branded item and not the other fella or I... right in front of us. Almost as if they don't want us to represent the brand. I decided to stay a few and contine watching and 12 additional skinny people got stuff and not the other heavy person that came in. In fact, there was no hi... how are you... nothing. Wasn't event invited back.

I'll stick to Dutch bros who helps the community and provides excellent service...

If you’re looking to grab a quick coffee this is not the place. If I could just give Logan 5 stars I would. Poor kid was running around with his head cut off. Him being the only one working running drive through and the front this kid did it with the best attitude and smile on his face. Constantly apologizing for the wait that is not his fault. I wish he would’ve given the opportunity to tip him. I asked if he was overwhelmed and he said his perseverance was kicking in. Such a Winning attitude in a poor short staffed environment. I was 3 cars behind the window and a line of cars behind me. I waited far too long over twenty minutes for two drinks. Coffee is yummy, awesome staff just so short staffed. Avoid at all cost if you are on a time crunch. This isn’t a first experience for me unfortunately. There is always one employee in there overwhelmed and overworked. Such a staple and must try...
