This grocery store used to be amazing. The layout, the prices, and the meat counter had quality cuts. Enter COVID. The pandemic decimated so many businesses and those that survived bounced back. Not this Fred Meyer. Wow. The worst grocery store ever. First of all, they reconfigured the layout. It's terrible now. The prices have increased substantially. Some food items have easily doubled in price. Even worse, the meat counter has terrible offerings and the once weekly sales no longer exist. Finally, and the worst part, the checkout lines. There are maybe 12 checkout lanes. I don't think I've seen more than two running in the past few years. This would be fine if the lines were short but they, most of the time, wrap into the...

Overpriced on most everything, I SINCERELY hope that the proposed merger between them and Albertsons doesn't happen, prices will skyrocket across all stores, couldn't use a gift card at their Starbucks for some reason, but I'm sure I could have used it at their JEWELRY dept.

Seriously, how can this store have a Starbucks, Grocery, bakery, Clothing, AND a fine Jewelry department ?
