I’ve been coming to this business pretty regularly purchasing many many items from this business. Well I was speaking to the manager one day asking what the sweetest tasting pipe tobacco was he told me what to try so I tried it. It tasted bland with no flavor so I decided to go back to speak with the owner and this employee named Tessa asked me what I needed and I told her the issue she told me the owner said no exchanges or refunds.( which is fine but as a Co. if there is a quality control issue with a product there is usually something that can be done or a policy in place for this) This cashier (who has zero product knowledge and when asked about different tobacco’s and cigars could not give any advice, same with the other employee that is there sometimes) anyways she goes from sweet to went into a rant raising her voice and getting angry about how there products are not from them and it’s out of there control if they are dry or something wrong to take it up with the manufacturer. I was trying to make a point to her that this has happened several times here and mainly due to the lack of product knowledge and she continued to speak over me and would not hear what I was trying to tell her and she was extremely rude and told me to get out and leave. I have never been so insulted and belittled by a worker as I have here. I will not return to this business again they do not stand behind their products and make excuses if there is an issue with the products they are selling not a very good business model at all. There is a much more knowledgeable business like this down the street who know there products they sell, and offer a better more welcoming experience. Meridian has needed a place like this for a long time and to have local members of the community and not some corporate business pour their blood, sweat and tears into bringing this to the Cigar community is much appreciated!! Brian and Erin are amazing and everyone they meet they treat like family. They have created an environment that you can drop in real quick and purchase some cigars or pipe tobacco OR better yet have an amazing lounge to sit back and enough your purchase with several TVs going and some great local entertainment on Fridays. The staff they have are top notch and welcoming every time you come in. They will help you with from start to finish and if they don’t know an answer will get you one quick!
