After deciding to out our for a nice dinner with our friends we were extremely disappointed at the service we recieved. We started it off with a round of shots and then we ordered nachos as an appetizer and we didnt get them until after our meals were delivered. The chips were very stale and they forgot the salsa. We ended up not eating them. We also ordered 3 fish and chips with upgraded fries and a burrito with a salad. The fish was good as was the burrito but we asked for more tarter sauce and never recieved it. 2 of us had ice tea and it came with only a few peices of ice and it eas melted within minutes. They didn't come to check on us or refill our drinks. When they brought the fries we asked for fry sauce and we waited and it never came. We were finally able to track down a waiter and ask for the things we needed. He was not our server but ours had never came back. By the time we received the fry sauce the fries were cold. We told the waiter about the fries being stale and he said he would let them know but he didn't bring us new ones or take it off the bill. We asked the waitress if there was anything that could be done about this and she said she would get the manager. She was a joke. She was rude and said she would just give us a round of shots for the trouble. She said the kitchen is now closed so they can't remake them. We didn't need them remade at this point anyways. We were hoping for them to make it right with us. She said she would give us a discount. She gave us $2.30 off of the nachos and $1.20 of of one of the fries. We also noticed that the receipt shows that they charged us for 3 fries totaling 30 dollars and never gave us the fries with our fish. So the fish was 54 dollars and the fries that were supposed to come with them were 30 extra dollars. We left the fries and the nachos on the table when we left. This place overcharged us and gave bad service. We paid the 130 dollar bill and...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit Giggy D's, a newly opened neighborhood sports bar, and I must say, it left a positive impression on me. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
One of the standout features of Giggy D's is its family-friendly ambiance. Unlike many sports bars that can be rowdy and overwhelming, Giggy D's managed to strike a perfect balance between a lively sports bar and a welcoming space for families. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a game with your buddies while also bringing your loved ones along.
The interior of the bar is well-designed, with comfortable seating and ample space to move around. Large flat-screen TVs, ensuring that no matter where you sit, you won't miss any of the action. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to provide great service and answer any questions you may have.
Now, let's talk about the food and drinks. Giggy D's offers a diverse menu to cater to different tastes. From classic bar snacks like wings and nachos to heartier options like burgers and sandwiches, there is something for everyone. The food is delicious, well-prepared, and reasonably priced. They also have a good selection of beers on tap, as well as a variety of cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.
It is evident that the owner of Giggy D's places a great emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.
In conclusion, Giggy D's is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. With its family-friendly atmosphere, attentive staff, delicious food, and wide range of drinks, it is the perfect spot to catch a game with friends or enjoy a meal with your loved ones. I highly recommend giving Giggy D's a visit if you're looking for a sports bar that strikes the right balance between fun and...
Read moreStopped in for their happy hour. $3 well drinks. Awesome we thought. Ordered a bourbon and seven. They don't have a well bourbon, so settled for their well whiskey. Wife ordered a screwdriver. Giggys considered a screwdriver a cocktail, so was charged full price. ????? What does one put in vodka to be considered a well drink? Wife ordered the chicken wings with the sweet Tai chili sauce. She like them alot. I ordered their fingersteaks. Waitress asked if I wanted fries, tots, onion rings or sweet potato fries. I asked if they were the same price, and she said yes. Was charged extra for fries on bill. Waitress asked how I wanted them cooked, so replied medium. The tenderloin meat they use is quite excellent. It's a good thing since they were cooked to death. The batter looked and acted like burned toast. We weren't served any sauce with any of our orders. Had to asked for blue cheese dressing for her carrots and celery. I had to ask for sauce for my fries and fingersteaks. She had to look on menu what kind of sauce it came with. It was decent cocktail sauce though, when I did get it. Again, the quality of the fingersteak meat was good, but for $18, the portion were small. I'm in my late 60s so my appetite is a lot smaller than it use to be, but I left still a little hungry and ended up having a snack when we got home. Other places that I've ordered fingersteaks from, I almost always end up taking few pieces home. Waitress was very nice, but I think a Newby...
