(Alexis Ferguson, attitude over the phone. Snotty. Know it all “manager”) Hang up on me all you want. The call was recorded and sent to the folks that gave you a job. Keep that snotty attitude in middle school where it belongs.
I called Papa John’s today to check the status of my pizza delivery, which had been pending for over an hour and a half. The representative who answered, Alexis Ferguson, was noticeably unprofessional and dismissive. After I explained the delay, she stated that their store was “understaffed” and that deliveries had been “tossed over to DoorDash.”
I calmly mentioned that customers should be informed if their orders are being outsourced to a third-party service, as we’re paying Papa John’s directly and deserve transparency. Instead of handling the conversation respectfully, she abruptly hung up and canceled my order without notice.
I immediately placed the same order with Domino’s and was treated with professionalism and courtesy — a clear contrast in customer service.
It’s disappointing that paying customers are met with hostility when simply asking for an update. Staffing challenges are understandable, but rudeness and poor communication are not. If this is how management allows employees to treat customers, I’d strongly encourage others to take their business elsewhere.

Read moreI ordered a couple pizzas tonight... while I was waiting out in my car I noticed an employee with long hair and no hair net making the dough for pizzas... once my food was ready I walked in and asked another employee about thier policy and if a net was required and she said yes. Then I asked why the other employee wasn't wearing one. Her response to that was "I'll talk to the GM tomorrow" I explained I livee 20 mintues away and I'd hate to find a hair in my food... she laughed and then agreed. Once I got home I got a piece of pizza and guess what... there was a hair in it. Obviously this place doesn't care enough to ensure employees adhere to the minimum health requirements. I've worked in the food service before and I understand it's inconvenient but still. No one wants hair in thier food. Even the employee I spoke with agreed. She said I don't want my own hair in my food. So why don't you make sure it's prevented after someone asks about it instead of basically blowing off the customer? Probably won't...

Ordered pizza at 5pm online, delivery totalled out to $49 plus a nice hefty tip! Said 30-45 minutes. 615pm rolls around I call and speak to a young lady who said they created it as a carry out and has been sitting since 5:15pm. Asked if we wanted it sent out to us, we said yes...re-exchanged my address with the young lady. Fast forward to 7:15pm no pizza I call again, the gentleman on the other end of the phone said, well its still sitting here ready for pick up. My husband asked for a refund and we would order from somewhere else! THE KID HANGS UP ON HIM! I call back and speak to the manager Ryan and he was of no help. Offered to get the pizza to us again!
So now, 730pm my kids are waiting for Domino's to get here because they only take 20 minutes! Thank you Meridian dominos for being the...
