We frequent Indy Clover and usually love our experience there (Meridian location). This past Sunday (4/13) we visited and had an odd experience with the only girl working at the shop. We were 2 of a few customers in the store (maybe 5-6 other people) and while we were waiting for a dressing room, the girl who was working (mind you, she was the ONLY employee working) was in the dressing room trying on clothes from a rolling rack she had been dragging around. We had assumed she was putting clothes away, but we think she was shopping for herself. This would have been OK, had she not been on the clock, plus the only employee in the shop. She would occasionally poke her head out of the dressing room to check the front counter, or the front door if she heard it open/close. We told her we were waiting for the large dressing room (there were 2 of us, and she was occupying the large dressing room) to which she came off with a little attitude. We took the small dressing room and continued to watch her try on clothes and take photos of her self with her phone. Once we checked out, she was not friendly at all to us (didn't greet us, say thank you, etc.) We assumed she was upset that we asked for the large room...but sheesh, almost zero customer service skills. Like I said, we really enjoy shopping at Indy clover, but this experience left us not feeling...
Read moreUnfortunately there is no 0 stars option or I would have chose that instead. Really was hoping to have a great experience at this cute second hand store but it was the opposite of that. This place has adorable finds but the business side/professionalism is severely lacking. Took my little sister school shopping here and we live an hour away so this was a big deal for her. The store payment system was down and no one was notified about this until proceeding to checkout. They already do not accept cash but due to card system being down they said no one could pay or take things home until system was back up, I can understand that! However after asking if they would hold her items through the weekend, I was promised that would not be an issue (due to faulty system) and we could pick up and pay the next day. Drove an hour back to store the next day to pick up/pay for all her clothes and first was met with a unprofessional front desk girl having social hour with her friends that stopped by and then was told that they don’t do holds and they didn’t hold her things even though I was sent a text message and verbal confirmation multiple times. Anyways I would take your money elsewhere to a store that appreciates it and knows what...
Read moreI’ve tried selling a few times, and each time I do, between the selling fee, credit card fee, admin fee, and whatever else they feel like tacking on, I’ve left with less than half of what my stuff has sold for. So just a seller beware, it’s not 1/3 that they keep. They do end up keeping more, especially if your booth doesn’t do well in the week you’re selling. I’ve also been a shopper and stood at checkout waiting for the employees to finish making a reel or having a personal conversation so that I could buy the items in my hands. The concept of this store is great, but with how much effort and time I put in, just to get little to nothing back, I’d rather take my clothes to...
