Came in on Father’s Day around 2:30pm. Probably one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I came in and asked about how safe it would be for me to eat here with celiacs disease. I was advised that there was a good chance of cross contamination so I chose not to get a sandwich. The lady that was explaining it to me suddenly became agitated when I said I’d pass on the sandwich and just order a coffee. The eye roll, the sigh, and the dirty looks mixed with whispering to a male coworker when I walked away was just uncomfortable. When I walked over to the coffee counter, I was trying to make small talk with the barista (a completely different employee) so I mentioned how I wasn’t try to be rude by not eating and explaining how sick gluten makes me. She gave me a dirty look and made a snarky comment about how it’s my diet and my choice. Having celiacs disease is having an autoimmune disease and it most definitely is NOT my choice. Eating out is hard for me and it’s even harder when employees are rude about it. My coffee tasted amazing but was NOT worth being treated like an inconvenience or dealing with snobby employees....
Read moreI purchased a 3ft Blimpie best blast. It has keep going up in price . 3 years ago it was 50 dollars, last year it went up to 60 and this year is 70. The owner told me that the increase is due to post COVID-19 expenses but I don't know of any other food establishment that has gone up 20 dollars in two years. The owner mentioned the increase of cost for boxes. It's bad enough the 20 dollars increase but now the blast barely has any meat. The owner mentioned it has always been the same but the blast was shared with other people who also noticed the little meat on it. I have order several blasts over the years and it's crazy putting little meat on it given how thick the bread is. Don't bother wasting 70 dollars on a Blimpie blast. In addition the customer service is terrible.
Edited review: the owner is missing the point of the review. The Blimpie Blast was shared with other people who also ate the same sandwich in the past. Those people made the same observation: this Blimpie Blast has less meat than in...
Read moreI just ordered two sandwiches from your meridian, idaho store on main. I ordered a turkey provolone sandwhich on white bread the blimpie way ans asked for more vinegar, I then ordered a large turkey sandwich on wheat bread with only onion, mustard extra oil and vinegar. What I came home with was a reg turkey sandwich on wheat bread with provolone cheese no vinager or oil on it no onions, vinegar or oil and no tomatos, just a dry sandwich, the large sandwich had tomatos, on white bread no extra oil and it shows on my receipt it was the blimpie way. Why are you employees not paying better attention to what your customers order? This is so disappointing and unbelievable when you rely on them to get the...
