This place used to be very descent and the food used to be amazing, specially their "tacos al carbon". I went there last week for lunch and came out completely disappointed. I ordered the chicken tacos al carbon with no onion and also had a beer, why not, it was Friday and it had been a long week, plus the place was fairly empty of customers. So here is what ruined my lunch completely:
Tacos came out pretty lame and the tortilla was all saggy/ falling in pieces
I requested my tacos with no onions...but I guess the pico/ tomato sauce that came on top of the meat already had onion mixed in and the cook probably or most likely thought that it would be a good idea to remove the onion and I wouldn't notice...well I did taste it actually and it was bad!!!
The waitress offered my a 2nd beer...again it was Friday around 1-2pm...so I figured why not!! I finally ordered the bill and realized right away that the beer was $6/ bottle.... YES $6 a bottle...so I ended paying more for the two beer than the actual lunch. I honestly forgot when the last time was that I was charged that much for single/simple beer.
So last time I went to this place must of been about 5-6 years ago... and had nothing but great experiences! I don't know if there's new ownership or it was just a bad day...but I doubt I'll be back...
Read more100% Do NOT recommend. My girlfriend and I decided to try this place out for lunch for the first time. When we received the "complimentary" chips and dip, the chips were old and stale. We ran out of salsa and were not offered more. When the waiter brought our food, the rice was cold, a microwave would've done a better job. Just when you think the Carne Asada couldn't get messed up at a Mexican restaurant....it was watery and mushy....yes, MUSHY. I didn't even know Carne Asada could be mushy. The black beans had no flavor, the lettuce was brown and old. The tacos only had one tortilla not two. The guacamole was brown when I got it. The waitress was not attentive. Overall, not a pleasant experience. Save your money and go elsewhere.
P.S. The horchata was good, but I'm pretty sure it was...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would. The food was Terrible. I went for lunch to order pupusas, arroz con leche, and flan. The pupusas had NO cheese or beans at all it was mainly just plain tortilla. Their arroz con leche was basically a cup of milk, and their flan smelled horrible like wet dog. The only thing I actually liked was they’re horchata. The prices are also wayyy too high for the quality of their food. Definitely do not recommend this place to anyone & I will not...
