Oriental Cafe — Restaurant in Merrifield

Waited almost 20 minutes for my lunch. Watched several people come in after me, order, receive their lunch and leave before me. Another customer said something to the lady behind the counter about how long they had been waiting and she pointed at me and told him I had been there longer than him and that was all she had to say about it. VERY RUDE people behind the counter. They act like they're doing you a favor. Never a smile on their faces or a thank you. Nothing, just give them your money. When I finally got my lunch and got back to work and started to eat it was burned on the outside and some of it was partly raw on the inside and because I only get an hour for lunch I ended up just throwing it in the trash. What I did taste of it was bland and not very good. I only gave one star because you can't give zero. Bottom line, I will not be going back nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Called in a carry out order, the lady i spoke with was a bit rude on the phone when I tried to ask a few simple questions. She kept on cutting me off asking what I wanted.

Ended up ordering Szechuan Style Beef and 2 Egg Rolls. Surprised they even got my order right. I picked it up and they didn't even include any soy sauce, hot mustard or duck sauce with the order. Thankfully I had some extra Duck Sauce in my fridge at home, but nothing could of saved those bland Egg Rolls. They pretty much tasted like fried greasy cardboard. And my Schezuan Style Beef was extremely greasy and it tasted like it was cooked it in burnt oil! The entire dish tasted soo salty I could hardly eat it. This dish is suppose to be spicy, but it didn't have the slightest bit of spice in it at all.

Which i had to bring it to her attention once before. This and many incidentes made me to be more careful and to do an observation around, the other day when eating before my last visit, the kitchen doors were left opened, she does not treat well some of her employees, and the inside place is not keept cleaned when getting the garbage out, I wouldn't recommend this place.
