Let me tell you about this AMAZING restaurant! At 9 PM I placed an order for Thai food from Uber Eats and stumbled upon this gem (Happy Thai). Well at 10:09 PM Uber Eats called to inform me that my order would not be arriving. I was then refused further detail and told to contact the restaurant for further details.
So I contacted Happy Thai saddened that I waited over an hour for a purchase I wasn't going to receive. (Turns out that it was Uber Eats fault! Uber canceled the order due to no drivers in the area even though the food was already made!!) The receptionist was SOOOOOO sympathetic and to my surprise told me that the owner (Rattiya) was trying to find a way to contact me to DELIVER MY ORDER IN PERSON after closing the restaurant for the night!! I was so surprised and ultimately baffled. After I gave my number and address I waited for the owner to call once she arrived.
Once Rattiya arrived I was greeted with a kind masked smile. She explained that her restaurant just opened and she really wanted me to try her food (also that I must have been hungry). I promised her that I would give my honest opinion about the food if she would give me a call once she safely got home since it was so late at night. After our brief encounter, I was at the point of tears from her sweet and kind gesture.
Now ABOUT THE FOOD! It was absolutely AMAZING!!! Everything was so fresh. All of the warm items were still hot and the cold items did not lose their chill. The flavors and spices for each dish were 100% authentic! All in all 10/10!!
Tonight Rattiya made me feel like family and for that I will be a forever customer! I plan on seeing her the next day at her restaurant to give my thanks. Please go support this amazing business! Trust me when I say you will not regret it!
P.S The food was so good that I forgot to take a picture before consuming it. Also because Rattiya was correct. I was...

Update: Saturday August 15th 2020 Husband Went to place an order for chicken lo mein and green cury.
1st attempt: Husband got home and I checked in the bag there was no rice for the green curry so we called and had to repeat several times of what was missing. So Husband went back out to pick up the rice and did recieve free potstickers for the inconvenience.
2nd attempt: Got my rice but when Husband took a bite of the chicken lo mein there were jalapenos which is too spicy for him. He only asked for extra chicken not jalapenos in the food. Note he has ordered lo mein from this restaurant before and it never had jalapenos. Well needless to say we called again and several times repeated what was wrong and husband drove back out.
Maybe it was one of those off days but when there is a language barrier and there is no attempt to just listen instead of cutting the person off explaining, how can you solve the issue?
I will say three stars since the experience has changed from the first time the restaurant opened. Seems to me that it may be due to lack of workers and too many orders that may be hard to fulfill for just two or three people.
We place our trust in the preperation of food from restaurants. To make sure it is prepared correctly, it is fresh and does not give us negative reactions. The green curry did and I have had this several times before.
Thank you Happy Thai but no more orders will be...
Read moreHappy Thai is a hidden gem! Despite its small size, it has a homey, clean, and authentic feel with a great vibe. The service is top-notch. The lady who took our order was incredibly kind and always had a smile on her face, which made our experience even better.
As Thai food enthusiasts, we always order Tom Yum soup and Drunken Noodles wherever we go. The Tom Yum soup here was good, but the Drunken Noodles were exceptional—fresh, authentic, and perfectly prepared. We also tried the Soft Shell Crab, and despite not being a crab person, I found it amazingly good. It’s something I would order every time I return.
We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was super nice. If you’re looking for delicious Thai food, I highly recommend Happy Thai. We’re definitely coming back!
Update: Had to come back again for the Soft Shell Crab. This time we also tried the Mango Sticky Rice. I’ve eaten plenty of Mango Sticky Rice but theirs is absolutely delicious. I like how fresh it tastes and the rice is nice and warm!
12/7/2024 update: If you’re craving mussels, this dish is a must-try! The new steamed mussels are absolutely incredible—perfectly cooked, fresh, and paired with a sauce that’s bursting with flavor. The refreshing aroma of mint takes it to the next level. This has quickly become one of my favorite dishes on the menu, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Happy Thai. You...
