We absolutely LOVE the MVP resort!! 1.) All of the workers are kind and welcoming. You will quickly feel like family. They have been accommodating with last minute requests. They explain their policies and are honest and open. 2.) Your beloved pet will be treated like royalty. When you walk through the door your pup will show up on a rotating welcome screen so you can see your pup’s latest cute picture and learn which friends they’ll be playing with that day. Your dog will be summoned by a trainer that knows your dog by name and nicknames. Let the tail wagging begin. 3.) Your dog will get plenty of attention, cuddles, and treats with 1:1 human time with dog lovers who spoil your pet and send adorable pics of your dog in heaven. I think our dog loves his MVP family more than his family at home at this point. 4.) What makes MVP Resort so unique is their ability to read a room, fully evaluate each dog and their personality, and ROTATE dogs. At previous daycares, dogs are separated only by size. However, MVP will switch up rooms and dogs to make sure that every dog is having a great experience during the entire day. Our dog Vito is an active Aussie, so sometimes he’s brought into a room to liven up the group while running around with high energy. There have been days where he stayed in the same room with the same dogs, and other times where he went in a few different rooms and had rotating visitors as well. If your pup wants to rest or needs a break, they can be moved to a more secluded room to take a quick nap. 5.) Each day of daycare comes with an enrichment session in which your dog works with an experienced dog trainer. Our crazy pup started learning how to heal and now does a full blown agility course for his enrichment!!! You’ll get videos at the end of each session to see your dog perform their newest skill. 6.) Get ready for the funniest well-written report card to describe your pet’s day. It’s always uniquely written and my entire family loves reading about their day and seeing the large amount of photos. 7.) Overnight boarding has been great, as you can sign your dog up for daycare during their stay so you don’t have to worry about them sitting in a cage while you’re away on a trip. They get lots of 1:1 time playing and cuddling with animal lovers and every interaction is well documented and photographed and sent on a daily basis so you don’t have to worry or call to see how your dog is doing during your trip. 8.) MVP Resort is amazing! We originally found it when looking for a place with self-serve dog wash options (which are great!) but found the facility and staff to be so nice that we looked into doggie daycare as well. We have a very shy husky mix named Indigo who likes dogs but was so scared of strangers that she wouldn’t go into any public buildings without a screaming fit, so we were not sure she’d even get through the consultation process - but the staff at MVP was great at making her feel comfortable! During her consultation, it was clear that the trainer (Dominick Etienne) really understands dogs and got Indigo to open up, so she passed her consultation and had fun playing during the test-run. Just going to daycare once a week has made her a much more confident dog who loves all the workers at MVP and happily goes into pet stores and the vet’s office now. We also did an 8-week training program with Dominick to work on Indigo’s stranger danger reactivity and it was incredibly helpful! She’s a typical stubborn husky but was able to master key obedience skills and then apply them in “scarier” public places. When we started training, Indigo could rarely make it through a neighborhood walk without getting spooked and shutting down or trying to escape. Now, she’s able to walk confidently with only some nervous glances when in really crowded places. She’s continuing to improve and we’ll definitely be back for some one-off follow-up sessions with Dominick down the road! I truly can’t say enough GOOD about MVP! Having both a veterinary practice AND a pet resort is like having disneyworld for our furry family members. The resort side just opened so they are not completely open for boarding but they are open for daycare and WOW, our pup LOVES it there. She is never hesitant and is absolutely thrilled when i drop her off. Her excitement is consistent with the incredible customer service provided by all members of the resort team and an absolutely phenomenal manager for the resort side. One unique thing about mvp resort is how attentive they are to our pups and provide pet parents an incredibly detailed report card that may feature photos and videos of the pup. They do this every day and you don’t even have to ask to check in because they are already on top of it with informing pet parents about their loved ones. Additionally they offer enrichment sessions during daycare that comes with their stay at daycare. These enrichment sessions work on targeted tricks, commands, and other basic training skills. I love knowing that my puppy is not only having a blast but she is happy and learning, too! I also am thrilled they will offer cat boarding which has its own section and was designed specifically to keep cats calm and make them comfortable. I have absolutely zero hesitations when thinking about dropping both our pup and kitties off with the MVP resort team. They will be in the most loving and caring hands in the area.
