Adrian's #2 — Restaurant in Mesa

We went there as a family for the first time, based on the very positive reviews that I read online, but were disappointed that everything that we ordered (including drinks) did not even meet our expectations. We ordered Arnold Palmer drink but surprisingly, the guy at the counter (who also is the one who takes orders and seems like the same person who cooks) did not even know what Arnold Palmer is (which by the way something that we always order at Mexican restaurants. The iced tea was watered down, almost tasted like water. You know how most entrees come with beans and rice?? The beans that were served to us were the cheap canned beans that did not even have the texture of refried beans. I would rather buy a canned refried beans at the grocery store and cook it myself. They don't even use the queso fresca but rather have the cheddar cheese as toppings on the tortilla for what we ordered. We will definitely never go back to Adrian's, that was our first and last...

Adrian's is to-date, the greatest breakfast burrito I've found in my three years in the valley. It's the kind of place that greatness can come from, small, hot, and maybe a little dirty, but the quality of the food is enough to make it well worth it.

The restaurant has about 4 tables and is the size of my bedroom, combined with the noise of the kitchen and the lack of any AC, I much prefer to get my food to go, but I've never been disappointed with it.

The home-made tortillas blow some of the competitors out of the water, and the prices are so low you wonder how they even turn a profit. The red & green sauce is mind blowing, and the mild would be "hot" anywhere else, and the "hot" won't disappoint even the toughest of tongues.

I can't speak to their service, or anything else on the menu but the breakfast burritos, but if you're looking for the best in town, you've found them...

As dirty and rugged the place looked. I thought I will still give it a chance. Esp with the stars that I saw on their reviews. But I was still effy about ordering food there with the way their eggs looked like as the server was giving a customer’s plate. So this woman took my order. It wasn’t hard for what I was asking. When I got my order she made one of my burritos wrong. When I was wondering how my order was more than it should. So she tried to flip it on me. When I specifically specified what I wanted in my order. Horrible. She wasted my valuable time. I even told her, “Do I need to speak in spanish to make it clearer to her what I wanted.” No apologies at all or sincerity. Very disappointing and sad esp with the looks of...
