Bahama Buck's - Mesa (E Southern Avenue) — Restaurant in Mesa

We were really looking forward to enjoying some refreshing sno, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from start to finish.

First, we ordered a baby-size white coconut sno, and it had absolutely no flavor—just plain ice. Then I got a sugar-free strawberry with sour sand, and the entire top layer was just sour sand and ice. It was so overwhelmingly sour that it made the rest of the sno unenjoyable.

We ordered a third sno: half sour lime and half sour pink lemonade. Sadly, once we got past the top cone, there was no color or flavor at all—just more plain ice.

To make things worse, the employees seemed more interested in zapping insects on the ceiling and throwing ice at each other than actually focusing on customers. It’s really frustrating to spend money and get poor quality and even worse customer service. We won’t be returning to...

This place was great when we came around 3pm the ice was well blended and the smoothies were great , blended ice was like creme , so good in fact we decided to go back after our shopping trip was done but when we went back thru the 2nd time unfortunately the drinks were not blended so well and ice kept getting stuck and blocking the sipping straw so you couldnt get a sip without a big chunk of ice being in the way. It's unfortunate that there is no consistency in the drinks being made and for that I have to take away 2 stars because you cant sacrifice the quality of the drinks for faster service and I wouldnt mind waiting a few extra minutes for well blended drinks as I find that is #1 thing lacking at most smoothie or juice bars. Taste = 5 stars Health / sugar coma = 1 star At a place like this where it's all C6 H12 O6 you know what you're getting. I have had a cup where there was no juice in the middle and it was pure flavorlessness, but never (so far) at this location.

Just a little FYI to management: SINCE I have not yet had an experience like Daira's (taking it at face value) and to me the staff has been reasonable humans and not seeing it trained out of them (so far), and nothing has needed to end up on the floor despite having diagnosed IBS since 2007 just because Simon says I can't use what's right there, this can remain 5 stars, subject to change, which we all best hope it never does, and that your / your staff's inflexibility (per your own reply)...
