Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Mesa

I have gone to many east valley locations recently, and some west side, because normally I love the cotton candy blizzards! I can't wait for the summer flavors each year!!

I have learned that i prefer double the flavor syrup and double the crunchy cotton candy pieces, and I'm willing to pay for that, if it is added.

In the last month i have been to this Gilbert Rd location 3 times, and I have not gotten the dark pink (or pink AT ALL) color of ice cream that I'm expecting. And yesterday the crunchy candies were put on TOP of my blizzard, instead on mixed in. I have no idea if any others were mixed in, it seemed like there were not very many, and the flavor syrup was mostly stuck in a big chunk a couple of inches down from the top. This leaves mostly absurdly expensive vanilla ice cream, and a very sad me.

One other location i complained about the white and not pink ice cream and they were kind, gracious, and had that added in for me! I called today after my TWO cotton candy blizzards got home end have mostly white ice cream, no pink color at all.

I expected to be told to come back to have them add in the missing part and I'll stir it in myself

The location on Gilbert Rd cannot arm to get this blizzards correct even when i give them explicit instructions at the order speaker, and again at the window of the drive thru, they don't do it as I have asked, and when i called in to let them know it was wrong, yet again, I was told that the extra syrup and candies were added, and the ice cream should look that way, white with maybe the tiniest hint of pink. NOPE, at every other DQ it gets very, very pink when you double the cotton candy flavored syrup! Ice seen that at every other location I've been to in the valley. Omg the most disgusting, messy and overpriced burger i have ever eaten. I now know why most locations only sell ice cream and not their entire menu. I had DQ about 6 years ago in Missouri and it tasted great! I don't know what came over me today and i had this craving for a DQ burger. I went to one of their locations and was told they other have ice cream, maybe this was a sign to just forget about it and get a Whata Burger or Burger King, the two fast food Burger joint i usually get my fast food fix from. I didn't listen to my instinct, i drove to this location hoping it tasted the like the burger i had back in Missouri and boy was i wrong. First off, the drink was ok, the fries ok as well, but the burger was a complete waste and disgusting. The paper wrap smelled like it is stored at a ranch and cows sleeps on it. The bun was old and looks like someone from the dollar store. The cheese completely melted and it looks like the type of chese you will use for pizza. I spent almot 8bucks... the smell i couldn't take. I threw up the little bite i took and threw the rest into the bin. Stay away from DQ burgers. It's gross and i wonder why they still have certain locations open, they should close them all like the did the rest. Burgers are certainly not their expertise. DQ please stop selling poison...

Second time coming to this location with my wife. First time was last week and my wife ordered a blizzard that was super runny and it wasn’t delivered “flipped” so she said do I get my next one free? Employee totally avoided her and did not respond. This week we ordered another Oreo brookie blizzard that was super runny that was not flipped. On the sign that advertises them it says served or your next one is free so I jokingly said is my next one free? Same employee from last week says “I couldn’t flip it or else it would spill out.” Isn’t the point of flipping the cup is to show it meets fair Queen standard? I then read the bottom of the sign to him and he says I don’t know anything about that you will have to speak to my manager. I asked for his manager and never got him. When we were leaving I asked again to speak with the manager and he finally got two other employees. Employees then said they don’t know why the signs say that.
