Service was disturbing, some food items subpar.

One individual in our party at one time had a romantic relationship with our server. Even though it had been over a year since breakup, and he remained non responsive and a complete gentleman, after ordering, another server told our party could not be served because they did not have enough waiters to serve us. We all took note of all the servers on duty and politely asked what really could be going on. She informed us that the server originally assigned was not comfortable serving us and we would have to leave.

Though the gentleman subject in our party and his improved significant other remained silent as we headed out, I asked to talk to the manager. Finally, a large woman addressed me and rudely informed me we must leave and if we wanted to keep talking about it we "could all be 86'd from here". In my nearly 60 years of age I have never been treated with such unwarranted disrespect and inconsideration from a restaurant worker.

I expect a business to be run professionally, which includes keeping personal affairs separate. As a business owner, I recognize that both the server and the manager should be let go, since they do not reflect the practices of community friendly business that values their customers. We live in the area, and this will have a direct blow to the business's bottom line. We won't be coming back. Neither will our friends.

Btw, the meatballs are terrible, and two other items substandard from a previous visit.

No need to go back this establishment.

Went there for dinner yesterday and was extremely disappointed to bite into my sandwich and to almost severely injure my mouth on a inch long piece of metal. After informing management, they said it came from tongs that broke in the kitchen. They offered a free dessert and comped the one meal. However, our friend who ordered the exact same food and couldn’t eat it in fear of finding a piece of metal as well had to pay full price and we still had to pay for the remainder of our food and drinks. I understand things happen, and I am not looking for a free meal but due to the severity of this, the customer service should have done more. The meal with the metal was being shared as well. Is comping an entire $40 meal worth less to them then having returning customers? They have lost three customers due to their lack of care or sincerity to this issue. A piece of hair is one think but metal is a serious health concern and I am still dealing with the pain the next day. Go at...

Have had decent meals here before, but tonight was just way off. We ordered the 4 cheese "cheese Board" and got 4 small pieces of stale cheese in a casserole dish...it easily ranks last amongst all the cheese "boards" we've ever had. I had the scallop salad...the scallops were badly over cooked and there was far too much vinegar in the dressing. My wife had the salmon...it was tasty enough but within 2 hours of eating it she got stomach cramps and was very ill. Another member of our group ordered the pork... what he got was a 3-4 inch square of pork fat...it was disgusting! At least they took that off the bill. If there is an upside here it had nothing to do with the food. There was good entertainment on the deck and the waiter was very pleasant. But this is first and foremost a restaurant...and on that...
