Updating old review... Food tastes good when it's fresh however, they consistently still take a long time to make the sandwiches. Given them dozens of attempts before updating this review to get a good average of their services since I'm not one to make many low reviews unless it's a true reflection of the place...and they've consistently made the orders wrong over the last year so I've reduced how often I go there ( hence a long time for the update ). They always give pickles when we ask for no pickles ( we used to joke about how giving pickles is probably in their policy or something because they don't listen to "no pickle" requests lol) and they most of the time (9/10 times) include mayo when we ask for no mayo both in person and with online ordering. My family and I are pretty tired of all the sandwich errors to the point where we have chosen not to go instead of risk going back in, wasting food, getting refunds etc. We've given these guys a lot of attempts since we moved to this area five years ago and it hasn't gotten any better. We are unlikely to go back. The environment is clean looking and good enough. Our most recent visit was a poor experience again but this time due to poor customer service. Customer service is generally ok, nothing spectacular but we tend to call it quits once a place gets rude with customers. We've overlooked sandwich errors for years but that combined with rudeness (us or others), which was our most recent experience, is where we usually stop going to a place. They are probably still going to be an ok to good place if you don't mind waiting for food and you don't customize any of the sandwiches such as excluding one ingredient or adding an ingredient. Minimize the interaction and requests and you're probably...
Read moreAttached are the photos of receipts. The first is the order as l ordered on the app and the second from the store. Every time l order this l only recieve one chip where l ordered one with my combo and an extra one. They always only give me one because they think the chips are outside of the combo. What l see on the receipts and know what l ordered is 2 bags of chips. And then they also argue that the combo is a medium so the drink is a medium. The medium according to the app is the size of the sandwhich, not the drink. As shown on my receipt from the phone l ordered a large drink and why this is not showing on the store receipt is a good question and should be shown correctly. I'm tired of missing items that l ordered but the people at Firehouse can't get the order correct and then argue about the size of the drink. They need to have the register receipt print correctly and they also need to train their people more properly so that the order is correct. It's really getting old that they can't get the order right, are very dismissive of the customer and don't care if they are the problem. For this reason l always have the order on my phone when the order is picked up.
My other complaint is the fact that after l drive a block, get home and start to eat, the bottom of my sandwhich is always soggy. Are they really proud with the way they serve their food like this? It should not be this way!
Used to love coming here but very debatable anymore especially withe the costs being so high and service...
Read moreI have been here three times now and honestly I should not have gone back this time because I used to love firehouse subs but after two terrible experiences, this was it. So we wont be back. First time we placed our order and there was only 2 people in front of us and 1 couple that came in after us... it took 45 minutes to get our 2 subs. There were 3 associates just standing there talking 1 at the register ringing everyone up and 1 girl doing what seemed like all the work. The girl at the register had gloves on and was working with the money and when she went back towards the food she didn't change her gloves (so that should have been my first warning signal) the second time I went up there my fully loaded sandwich when I got home after a long wait (yet again) the sandwich had meat and cheese but nothing else...This time I was craving a meatball sub and drove the 2o minutes to the Firehouse that was closing at 9pm (I triple checked the time) got there at 7:23 pm I know exactly what time because I checked my phone. The door was locked, there was no sign on the door mentioning anything. We looked inside and saw a guy standing at the register on his phone so we knocked on the glass a few times and he did not look up once purposely avoiding eye contact...you could tell he could hear us because he had a smirk on his face as he was looking down at his phone. So do you just let your associates decide when they want to close and close shop 2 hrs before the set...
