We used to order online from this place. It's never been a great experience. It's either the food is lack of flavor (very contradictory to authentic Thai food, since authentic Thai food is very flavorful. ) or we get an upset stomach. The servings are small too. So, I gave this place another try and dine there yesterday, and I wasn't surprised, the chicken curry tasted bland. The chicken tasted old. My stomach was hurting the whole night abd I didn't have anything in my stomach but that food I had from there. Service? Oh well, the server couldn't wait to kick me out... came to me with a take out container and said, So? To my surprise, I was thinking like what the heck? She's kicking me? Seriously? That not the best approach though. You should ask if your customer is done, before you assume and indirectly tried to kick them out even though, they've only been there for 20 mins. or so. Respect... More star from other clients? Maybe because there's really no other Thai restaurants nearby (in that neighborhood) No, I'd rather try somewhere else than waste my time here.
Ohhh, be careful, check your bill.. they miscalculated my bill and tried to argue until she realized, she was wrong.. Honest mistakes? Maybe.. but it's hard to make mistake for the total of two orders, apps and main dish--- how hard...
Read moreAs a disclaimer, I hated Thai food prior to my visit to this restaurant. My previous exposure to Thai food was a food run by my co-workers. I ordered the pad Thai then mild; it came Thai hot and it was a massive amount of food that was over spiced in all directions. I ended up throwing most of it out after trying to choke down enough of it to carry me to dinner. Today I finally gave up my anxiety about Thai food and decided to give it another shot here. The restaurant lobby was clean and quiet, which is perfect for me, I am not interested in loud obnoxious atmospheres. The waitress kept our drinks full while mostly staying out of our business, which is something I value. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with pork... I don't think I have ever tried a rice dish as delectable as this before in my life; infact I generally avoid rice dishes. I had a wonderful rice pilaf once with beautifully toasted slivered almonds that did not compare to how good this dish was. So, in short, I am a believer in Thai food. Thank you...

When the waitress approached she attempted to seat the larger parties ahead of me.. I can understand why they would do that. However when she looked at them and said, "Table for 4?" I spoke up and said, "No, just 1 please." She looked a little taken back, but hastily sat me at a single table. Then quickly returned and sat the 2 larger parties. She got them drinks, and came back for their orders, before me attending to me.
Perhaps a cultural thing, as most of the patrons seem elderly.. They may just naturally want to take care of them before a single middle aged white male.
I suppose this is their right to operate how they want to. But I will not come back, Simply because I felt unimportant. If you are by yourself, you may be looked over. The food looks good and if you come with a larger group, You will likly have a different experience, and possibly enjoy the delicious...
