Update: before the business commented on here I had emailed them and left a message and then when they sent me this email, I emailed this email and it's been three weeks and still nothing. I don't recommend this restaurant at all. Everyone I have told our story to has been shocked that a restaurant would treat their customers this way. We have already found a better breakfast place to eat at who can actually get their food out hot and the food is better too
This is mainly directed at the Manager Debbie. We have always enjoyed our experience here on the exception we get cold food sometimes. It happens at every restaurant and we don't get upset or anything but this time when we went, I ordered the same power wrap I always get and normally it is super hot but this time it wasn't. So I sent it back and Debbie brought the new one out to me explaining how she tested the temperature on it and we need to find a different First Watch to eat at because we weren't a good fit for here. I was absolutely shocked. We told her we wanted the bill and she said don't worry about paying it but we sat there until they brought it. I did not eat my breakfast at all because I was sick to my stomach after being spoken to like that. She came back a few minutes later and told us she already called corporate and explained the situation. What situation? And why did she feel it was necessary to call corporate herself. We are not rude people at all, we just expect hot food. She said we come in all the time and send food back which isn't true. We only send food back when it's cold (or the time a long hair was baked inside the waffle but we didnât make a scene, just sent it back and they took it off the bill.) Believe me I'm not going to waste food and I don't want to wait for it to be remade. I'm usually very hungry at the time so l'm not wanting to wait. This was our happy place we came to relax and enjoy good food but I see that is not going to be the case anymore. This review isn't directed at any of the other waitstaff. They have an amazing staff there on the exception of Debbie, who we've never really dealt with before. Their other manager, Carrie, is a...
Read moreGave this location two tryâs. First visit waited an hour to be seated and that was fine they were busy. After we were seated waited 20min before a server helps us then waited an hour for our food to come out.
The server never checked on us the entire time we waited. Water and coffee cups were empty. When our food came out she put all the blame on the kitchen and the trainer being absent that day. Not even owning the fact she ignored us for an hour.
When we got home we did they survey they sent us. Hour later the GM called us and gave a very sincere apology and offered to send us $60 worth of free meal coupons.
I was taken back and thought wow that was pretty cool.
5 weeks later no meal coupons arrived no big deal wasnât after a free meal but was disappointed the GM didnât keep her word.
My daughter wanted to give another try. Second visit. Waited 15min to be seated server was really cool and polite.
Unfortunately we waited an hour for food to come out again when my daughters was pancake came out it was cold and she was disappointed we ask for it to be warmed up server said we donât have a way to heat food up and said weâll make a fresh one. 25 minutes later my daughters new pancake came out.
Iâve enjoyed first watch and many locations and have always been impressed with the lever of food quality and serves we received this location was a disappointment.
Sorry first watch I felt like this was feedback that was needed to get things going the...
Read moreThis location knows how to cook eggs. My wife and I stopped going to the Power Road location because no matter how I ordered, the eggs would come back with runny whites, not just yolks. Last time we went, they also never even served us - we just sat for about 15 minutes with no server. And there was hardly anyone in there! It had the feel of a sinking ship.
This location, though, is the exact opposite. Itâs lively, the servers actually make an effort (ours ran into the kitchen when she realized she forgot my syrup) and they know how to cook. I ordered the tri-fecta, which was my go-to in the past, and I got my eggs âover mediumâ just to be safe. Thatâs not how I actually like them, but at the Power Rd location, theyâd be raw even ordering them that way. Not so here - they were actually over medium. A little bit browned on the whites, just slightly runny yolk. Now I know I can go back and order them sunny side up or over easy and actually get them that way, instead of raw.
Iâm not sure if itâs just this location either but our server told us the tri-fecta now comes standard with 2 sausage links - it used to come with one and that was true last time I ate at the Power Rd location as well. So bonus. I didnât need to order extra.
My wife really enjoyed her shrimp and grits as well.
This location is a little bit out of our way and definitely farther from us than the one at Power Rd, but weâll be coming back here for our breakfast/brunch needs...
