GREAT LOCATION BUT I DO HAVE A STORY TO TELL
I got set up for a blind date and I met the person here! It was not the right place for the date at all. I think my first problem was why the heck did I choose Jamba Juice as the location for a first date. Not that Jamba Juice isn't a good place for a first date. Just not a first date for a guy like me.
People who are in to being very athletic should go to first dates at Jamba Juice. You know that annoying couple that jogs and you have to wait for them while they hit the button to cross the road and it triggers the light on your usual diving rout to go from green to red. The couple that jogs in place while waiting for the red hand to turn into the white walking symbol at the cross walk. These are the type of people that should go to first dates at Jamb Juice. They will show up. Greet each other briefly then go up to the counter and get a smoothie with all sorts of things in it that help you that annoying hippies buy at the Whole Foods. Then they will suck down the thick concoction through a straw that will wind up in the ocean and down the throat of a turtle or something. While they drink they will talk about their nine to five jobs and other things that are typically associated with people who have a gold personality type. Their lives are scripted and controlled. After they are done they will throw the Styrofoam cup into the trash. The remainder of their date contains no words. They run off into the sun set. I mean LITERALLY run off into...
Read moreAs a NE Ohio native with prior knowledge of this chain but no access, I was eager to see if an order placed with Jamba Juice lived up to the hype. Marketing approach created appeal and left an impression, even from an inaccessible region of the country. This order was placed solely as an effort to determine if this chain contained culinary value.
This review was placed through mobile delivery platform; UberEats. I was fully expecting unique list-items that were striking in flavor profiles. This chain has the funds to advertise on a mass scale, they have surely mastered recipes, right? Well, not so much.
Needless to say, what I received in Jun '21 was nothing more than a plain, average, unimpressionable... and any other adjective you can think of to describe a standard...smoothie. My order contained two smoothies to allow me to not only compare & contrast, but provide a more accurate description of offerings. Both, were very, very average. This type of fare automatically resonated with me as common food, easily recreatable by just about any other location. It was a stark contrast to offerings I'm accustomed to in NE Ohio (Pulp Juice & Smoothies). Needless to say, the latter blew Jamba Juice out of the water as an...
Read more4 WEEKS LATER, UPDATE: Jamba Juice had contacted me not long after I left the original review below. I left a lengthier account of my lackluster visit (including more egregious details I did not choose to share here) and was contacted via email by the GM. My issue was taken very seriously, to the extent that security video would be reviewed and used as a training opportunity. I am highly impressed with how hands-on Jamba Juice management is when it came to righting any (perceived or actual) wrongs I had encountered and have therefore awarded them another star for exemplary service [though after the fact]. Further stars my be forthcoming in the future if I ever decide to visit Jamba Juice again (no plans to as of my current opinion) AND have a great experience. Note: if you ever have an untoward visit at Jamba Juice, there is a way to report it on their website with a possibility of them contacting you further.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a shake place with rather unremarkable options. Staff was not knowledgeable about the ingredients they used (other than knowing the actual names of the ingredients themselves). Shake was not very tasty & had very little nutritional value for store's claims to be a more...
