On Saturday my mother who is 69 years old was out spending a lovely day with My daughter, her granddaughter. After a day of shopping they decided to go to Starbucks so my mother can get her usual venti iced green tea extra sweetened and her double toasted cheese Danish and my daughter also some items that she enjoys. Now my mother is a star member of Starbucks. Has been for many years, has spent thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars at Starbucks. Now what's she normally does is, We do live in Arizona so the temperature on Saturday was I think about a good 118°. What she does is brings her cup from home which is het thermos which keeps her beverage nice and cool. As she was waiting in the drive-thru she had dumped out the little bit of ice that she had remaining in the cup in order to put the fresh one in. When she pulled up to the window, this red-haired gentleman said to her. Before we start this order, I need to ask you to reframe from throwing things out of the window into our parking lot. My mother said I didn't throw anything out of my window, which he rudely said to her, yes you did. I just saw you on the camera. And she said what you saw was me dumping my ice out and he said I still would like to ask you refrain from throwing anything out of the window. Very very rudely so my mom said an expletive and left the Starbucks. Now if he misconstrued that it was trash after my mother said to him that it was ice. He should have apologized to her and moved on, because clearly ice is not trash. But he chose instead to be rude and obnoxious and berate my elderly mother. So needless to say we will never be back to this Starbucks. We understand about keeping areas clean. She did not litter, but for him to be accusatory was asinine and I really believe that this store needs some better training in customer service and maybe get him off the drive-thru, or maybe he shouldn't work in customer...
Read moreI constantly update my review of this Starbucks based on each significant experience. I went there this morning although it was a long wait for a mobile order. I was pleasantly surprised by Michelle today. Everyone had a mask on but one women. I could tell everyone was annoyed with her no having a mask on. (COVID is not gone!!) Anyhow she gave the women a mask she tried to refuse but in the end Michelle told her the company policy and the women out the mask on. Thank you Michelle for enforcing the mask policy it’s very much appreciated!!
I absolutely love Starbucks screw the haters! I have one big gripe. Store manager I came into your store today and everyone was friendly except one person. My order was messed up and I mentioned it to one of your employees by the name of Kat. She is not a people person at all. If she hates people and or her job she should find another one. She literally ruined my experience today.
Update March 12,2021 had to change my stars to a 1. I am a regular customer to this location. I’ve had some ups and down at this place. Today was upsetting. I ordered my drinks through the mobile app and as always the line was too long to wait so I masked up and went in. While waiting one of the workers by the name of JR I believe he is a manager he had a black apron on. He had head phones on like he was taking drive through orders from outside. He came back into the building with out even washing his hands or even sanitizing. He touched the front of his mask then proceeded to touch all over cups and started making drinks. We have a whole pandemic going on not only that but it was extremely unsanitary. Please do better and wash your...
Read moreIf you like paying for an incorrect order and then having to argue with the batista about why it's incorrect then this is the place for you. I live by this one so it's the one I usually go to. I will be adjusting my schedule to give me enough time to go to the one on ellsworth and baseline from now on because they never mess my order up. I have been going to this Starbucks regularly for about 3 months and I have literally never had a correct order made. I confronted the batista and she proceeded to try and argue with me about how it was correct (I ordered a light iced melted caramel mocchiato) it wasn't melted and had the usual amount of ice Starbucks puts in. She was clearly newer and flustered. she was working the register and making coffee in the morning and wasn't fluent in her job yet. They remade it and messed it up again. Then she yelled at another guy to come help her. He rushes over and try the speed race remaking my drink and guess what.... Wrong again. I go thru the drive thru and leave pretty much every time with something incorrect. It's my own fault for contuing to go but I will not anymore. This is a new location and it needs to get its life in order. Go to ellsworth and baseline its slightly out of the way but they are awesome and get it...
