Do yourself a huge favor and "DO NOT STAY HERE! I had the most awful expirence with this hotel. I made my reservation for my daughter and I to have a extra special weekend together and decided to stay here for our entire extended weekend. 4 days in total.
We finally arrived around 9:30pm to be told that they have no reservation under my name or my husbands. I then showed her my reservation # and all the information they had sent me through my email and she still said she had nothing on file. I was then told to make my reservation in the lobby which was $100 more then it was initially. Knowing full well now our plans are being cut by the cost of this mix up and I was trying to not get emotional in front of my kid. She gave us our room card and we headed to our room. The outside doors slammed so hard behind us that we both knew sleep was going to be a hard thing to come by since we were one door down from the outside door. Entering our room the first thought that came to my mind was that I thought this hotel wasn't that old. Something out of a horror movie honestly. Ok what was wrong with the room.... Remote didn't work properly with Tv, microwave burnt our popcorn and was unable to cook it correctly since the bag was flat when removing it from the microwave, king size bed... NO ONE CHANGED THE SHEETS🤮 There was a huge yellow stain on it and a woman's black hair throughout the entire coverings of the sheets. The horrid look I kept getting from my daughter's face just broke my heart that it was all beginning like this and it was non-refundable. Next morning... I couldn't even get out of bed. I was extremely ill and vomiting with my poor daughter helping me with what she could. I ended up calling my husband and dad to come and pick us up. Since they lived in Goodyear and it was a bit later when they were able to get to us due to traffic my husband and dad loaded up our things and went to check me out. What were they greeted with.... "Well since it's after 4pm we will have to charge her for another night's stay". My husband was livid. His response "it's 4:13pm, you kidding me?" Not to mention my husband was questioning why I picked this hotel in the first place. He agreed it was a dark, dirty, and very old place. So now I have to spend another 4 months saving up to try this little mini vacation with my daughter again. All because of this greedy and unpleasant place. A ruined weekend that I prayed for that turned into a nightmare.
UPDATE So after a review like this and a very unsatisfied customer, I get a response from the owner "ONLY" saying " Thanks for your feedback". Are you kidding me... wouldn't you, as the owner do anything possible to fix the problem. Start out by refunding my money!!!! Says a lot about this company and who runs it. Surprised they are still opened...
Read moreThis hotel should be closed! We were staying here because it was close to the golf course we were playing at the next morning. We were going to stay here on Friday (12/9) night but had to book another hotel. Note - I booked the room via Groupon.
When we checked in at about 4:30p, a younger and older women were at the front desk and gave us room 311. When we entered the room, we were immediately hit with the smell of dog urine and the window was open. I called the front desk who said I could come down and get a key to another room. The younger women didn't apologize and was not surprised the room smell like urine. She said they put dogs on the 3rd floor. She then put us in room 310. When we walked in and I thought it smelled like urine again but we had a dinner reservation we had to make for our anniversary.
We returned to the hotel about 7:30p, and the smell of urine in 310 was there. I went downstairs and spoke with the older woman about getting another room. She told me they were booked but she would see what she could do. She grabbed a key and went to the 3rd floor with me. I had her smell the room and she said yeah you can't sleep in here. She opened room 312 and that room also smelled like urine. I asked her what I was supposed to do if they were booked and she said I would have to go somewhere else since I booked through Groupon. I called Wyndham and they said I would need to speak with the hotel management.
I went downstairs and asked the younger woman if they would going to find me another room somewhere since they were booked and only had rooms that smelled like urine. She replied she did not have money for that and went to the back room. I sat in the lobby and called to find another hotel. During that time a woman came in and asked what was going on. I told her about the urine rooms and the hotel not helping. She said she wasn't surprised and she no longer works there.
The younger woman came back out on the phone and I asked her for the managers number. She said she was on the phone with the manager. She said she could move me to the 4th floor. I told her I had booked another hotel since they repeatedly told me the...
Read moreThe only negative things I really have about my stay: the pool looked green for 2 nights of my 3 night stay which deterred me from going into the pool. Someone at the front of the building on the 4th floor was blasting Sabrina Carpenter so loudly I could hear it from my room which is in the back of the hallway next to the other elevator. The bathroom kept making weird noises as well that sounded like someone was trying to get into the room or something which was a bit worrying for me. My key card had to be entered like 5 times for it to register and unlock. The door would get stuck when trying to open it as well. The do not disturb sign was CONSTANTLY falling off. It was SO ANNOYING. I asked the front desk for a do not disturb magnet that I had seen on a door on the first floor but she couldn't find one. The shower curtain looked ragged at the top and was missing a piece to hold onto the railing. The bathroom fan never turned on either so if you need that, leave the doors open. It was a bit weird having unlocked double doors for the bathroom because I mistook them for the closet when I entered the room as the doors were shut. Breakfast wasn't really full of options. You could pick from: bagels, sliced wheat(?) bread, jellies/jams/PB/butter, Lucky charms or Cheerios, a milk pitcher that sat out from 7 am to 10 am (which concerned me because food safety is a BIG issue for me), they had Yoplait yogurts (peach, strawberry banana, etc) but they had no fruit chunks sadly, the bowls they give you for oatmeal are styrofoam and this cheap dirty looking coffee pot with no microwave for me to heat up my oatmeal so it was half cooked and just disgusting. I expected a bit more from the hotel looking as nice as it did. If you looked too closely, you could see how worn the seats are in the dining area also. I appreciate the stay but will definitely go somewhere else next time I...
