I've been to this location a number of times and while I've found most of the Panda's in the valley have bad services this location is perhaps the worst. I've worked plenty of service jobs so I'm always reluctant to leave too harsh of a review but after tonight I hit a wall.
The store closes at 9:30pm, which with the location that's fine, but they start breaking down and cooking to order at 7. They also seem to get a lot of doordash and other food service orders. These two facts combine into something that's been the case no matter the time I've come in: incredibly long wait times as they prioritize doordash deliveries over customers in the store. The cook to order just means those customers who come in have to wait even longer. This clearly stresses out the crew, and who can blame them.
This stress however seems to be poorly managed by the actual managers and leaks out out into service. Tonight it was Josh who, even after I said very plainly that I was ordering a Larger Plate which comes with three entries, and after loudly saying the three I wanted, rang me up as a double plate. When I reminded him that I'd asked for a Bigger Plate, the attitude was off the chart. He then gave me roughly half the small container they use for the third entree and walked away.
The person at the check out didn't even know what my order was, and when I informed them the one they were trying to ring me up for wasn't what I ordered, they likewise got an attitude. I get they were frustrated at the lack of follow through from Josh, as he just left my food on the counter to sit, but I didn't need further attitude when trying to assist with what my order was. I then let the cashier that I was going to double check what was in the bag just to make sure I didn't steal someone else's food and the cashier rolled their eyes at me and said "Fine, do what you want."
The whole place needs better management, and probably a small talk on how you can hide your frustrations if...
Read moreAn Utterly Disappointing Experience: Panda Express App Fails Miserably My recent encounter with the Panda Express app was nothing short of infuriating, transforming a simple craving for Chinese food after a long, exhausting workday into a maddening ordeal. What should have been a convenient online order for my local store inexplicably—and infuriatingly—routed my meal to a location a staggering 20 minutes away. Imagine the sheer frustration: already drained from work, the last thing anyone needs is to discover their much-anticipated dinner requires an additional, unwelcome half-hour round trip due to a glaring technical flaw. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's a monumental failure on the part of an application designed to streamline the customer experience. While I eventually received a refund for this egregious error, the fact remains that I am now forced to endure a 10-business-day waiting period for my money to be returned. This further exacerbates the initial frustration, adding insult to injury. The incompetence displayed by the Panda Express app has not only wasted my time and energy but has also tied up my funds unnecessarily. This experience has solidified my decision: I will no longer be using the Panda Express app, nor will I be patronizing Panda Express in the future. The sheer unreliability and the subsequent logistical nightmare it created are unacceptable. When an app fails so fundamentally at its core purpose, it erodes all trust and goodwill. Prospective customers should be wary of an ordering system that is so prone to such significant and...
Read moreBeyond upset with this location right now! My wife and I just went and bought 5 meals here for $42. Had to wait for orange chicken which was fine, but then we paid... We gave a $25 gift card to take off the bill, then used our visa to pay the remaining $17.xx. The cashier runs it twice to say both times it was declined, which didn't make sense, but to make things easier I handed her my MasterCard because we were in a hurry.... Then i get the receipt, and i see that the visa, which we were told was declined, did get charged the $17.xx, and my MasterCard was charged the other $25! The gift card was not taken off. So i tell the cashier and give her the receipt. She checks the gift card which is now empty but they don't know why. So i just was charged $67 instead of $42. The manager called corporate to explain. Then comes over to tell us they don't know why it happened and gives us a 1-800 number to call! So instead of taking care of it in the store since they all knew what happened, just not why, I had to then take my now cold food home and will have to spend who knows how long on the phone with corporate when it was 100% their fault!! They basically just stole $25 from us and now i have to do the leg work to try to correct their mistake!. Will never go back to this...
