Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Mesquite

I'm giving 2 stars because the womn working the drive thru was doing her absolute best!! The 2 younger girls had their hair down..seemed to be very little help to her, 1 younger gentleman cooking all alone and the 1 girl had her hair in her face where she couldn't be seen with the hat on, watching the woman working the window do everything was crazy! There was another gentleman at the back door but I believe he was getting off work..he is usually there and also very good, but other than the woman at the window, kids were working amd it's not their fault they weren't trained right at work or home, I don't know which- I spent 80 dollars, after waiting 15 mins for the food in the front, the icecream was melted ..I didn't understand why the younger girls made it before I received my food because it melted, the lady took it back in and got new ones..I think they were new but maybe just new lids because they were all melted when I got home and I live 5 Mins away, The absolute worst part was the food was all thrown together, for the price it was outrageous! I found atleast 5 hairs in the tacos, most blonde and 2 black! They went in the trash, I had already eaten half of a taco and am so mad about it, what can I do! My daughters steakfingers were very old! We still have them minus 1, house salad was just lettuce as I asked and 5 dollars for a handful of hamburger lettuce in a banana split container, with what more than hair on it! Blonde this time, the fish I had to wait for was on top of lettuce and pickles, I picked it up because it was soggy and put it in the air fryer only to find black hair under it and just left the entire box for the trash! Nachos were all soggy, my son ate the popcorn chicken and said it was good! The fries all went in the trash and I had extra items on my reciept I did not order...I usually go to gross road but they have been getting the order wrong alot lately!! And have some very rude people working there, I think military is normaly better than this. Being over charged, finding hair in everything and having to make food at home after spending 80 dollars to me is ridiculous..not going back! Sad because I love DQ so do my kids..but even if you are short staffed..which didn't seem to be the issue you can still deliver quality food to make up for the wait- and pay attention to the reciept! I tried calling last night but no answer..I'm sure they knew people would be calling! The lady at the window was doing her...

Stopped by to grab a dessert to go with our dinner we'd decided to get from somewhere else. Went thru drive thru, only one car ahead of us. Husband ordered a medium oreo blizzard, I asked for a very cherry chip with no chocolate since I've an allergy. Both passed the upside down test and overfilled the cups by a little. He was very pleased with his oreo, but the very cherry was missing cherries. It had the flavor but I found very few, very small pieces of cherry in the mix, it was hard to tell if it was actually pieces of cherry til I ate them. Was very disappointed since I'd had one before from a store in Alabama and every bit had a chunk of cherry in it. Husband offered to go back and see about having a 2nd made but we was already at other restaurant and I wasn't in the mood to fight traffic and all that. Employees were friendly and service was quick. This was our 2nd visit to this location and I'm sure we'll stop by again...

Gary the supervisor/ manager at this establishment was very rude and very racist. I literally had to park my car and come inside. He was so rude at the speaker. The drive thru cashier tried to help me and he literally told him, No. All because I forgot to add something on to my order. He said I would have to drive around and get back in line in the drive thru. One of the co workers which are very pleasant. The workers were amazing and apologizing on his behalf. They even was confused and stated he has his picks and chooses and also are rude and racist to them. They continue to say they even reported him a couple of times but he’s still there. If your cameras have sound please rewind it. I don’t even feel comfortable saying what he said to me. But he needs to be fired. My husband and I will be...
