This hotel is filthy and its staff is under-trained at every level. I am currently staying here and this is one of the worst Marriott Properties I have ever been to. My room was entered without my permission and my belongings were packed up and relocated also without my permission.
When I arrived the front desk was staffed by someone who was clearly under-trained, couldn't operate the phones at the front desk and then disappeared for 10mins before checking me into my room.
When I checked into my room there were dirty towels in the bathroom left by the previous guests that had not been removed by the cleaning staff. I threw them out in the trash.
I left the hotel this morning at 7:30am and put up a Do Not Disturb sign on my door.
When I returned my room had been entered by the cleaning staff and all of my belongings were missing. I went to the front desk where it was staffed by the same under-trained person. I asked what was going on and where my things were and was told he didn't know, but when pressed he remembered that my things were brought down by the cleaning staff. I asked why the cleaning staff entered my room and packed up my things and he said he didn't know. He told me they called him and told him they were moving my stuff because I was on their "check out list" but he remembered checking me in and knew how long my stay was. I asked why he didn't tell them that I wasn't due to check out for another two days and he said he didn't know. To be clear: my key card still worked, my reservation has never been altered, I have never requested a room change, I have never asked for cleaning service, I put up a Do Not Disturb sign when I left.
There is currently a pile of trash in the hotel hallway two rooms down from mine.

Read moreCouldn't provide a working room key, so the front desk let us into our room and told us they would slide room keys under the door within 15-20 minutes. An hour and a half later I'm calling the front desk to find out why we still don't have room keys and she said the person who could do whatever needed to be done wasn't there and she didn't have an ETA on when they would be there or any other useful information. Did not offer an alternative room, and as long as it took for her to get the first one in the computer I wasn't about to ask. The freeway noise on the side of the hotel is excessive to the point I believe it would make it difficult for me to sleep, and as a truck driver that should tell you something about how little the hotel insulates against road noise. Mattress was like a rock and so I threw my hands up and went to the front desk to ask them to cancel. Clerk told me that there wouldn't be any fees. Four days later I'm calling to follow up on why I haven't seen any kind of charge cancellation and to make sure I won't be charged and they CHARGED ME FOR ONE NIGHT. I've gone full Karen on this one, if you make a statement that you will do something (room keys, no charge because of problems with the room) and you don't honor EITHER of those - I'd recommend literally any other hotel in the area, we've stayed at the Holiday Inn next door a few times and it's okay but we stayed instead with the Hampton this time and in spite of $8/night for parking it was one of the most pleasant places to stay. The elevators are old but the room was quiet the mattresses were comfortable and breakfast was complimentary...

The total funds were holding in our bank account, unable to touch it. Which is what we were told would happen. Then we were out in the wrong room and they wouldn’t correct it. The very next afternoon, someone came to our door saying that we owed $230 dollars. I thought it was a mistake since the total amount was pending on our bank account. Sure enough, they said it was not a mistake and that we didn’t pay ANYTHING. Asked to speak to a manager and was told to come down the next morning. The next morning, I come down and was told she was in meeting all day and to meet with her the following morning. Come back to get my 1 year olds milk and special bathing soap so she could stay at her aunts house and they REFUSE to let us in our room to obtain her items. We requested to speak to a manager AGAIN seeing that it’s 4pm on a Monday. The manager, KATRINA, refused to come to the hotel. We ended up having to pay the, now $420 dollars, to get my baby’s items. We have checked out early, reported them to the BBB and have disputed all charges with the bank waiting for responses. They took $910 + $420 totally $1330. Our stay was only originally supposed to be $610 when we reserved. HORRIBLE. DON’T STAY HERE IF YOU WANT A RESOLUTION. YOU WILL NOT GET ONE AND THE MANAGERS DON’T...
