Taqueria Taxco — Restaurant in Mesquite

While traveling, I stopped for gas and went inside to get my receipt and use the restroom. The restroom is owned and operated by this restaurant. Because I didn’t purchase any food, they wouldn’t provide bathroom tissue. There’s no soap or tissue in the restroom. There is an air dyer for your hands. The store clerk was nice enough to inquire about providing me tissue and the male restaurant worker directed him and I to the aisle where I could purchase tissue. Is this where we are a people? Disgusting behavior and he showed absolutely zero concern. The store clerk was very nice and even he seemed taken aback by the restaurant‘s behavior. Absolutely disgusting and deplorable. Went to use the bathroom and there was no toilet paper. And when I call the store phone because no one could hear me yelling trying to get their attention when they can hear me due to them being 10 feet away, I ask the worker if they can put some toilet paper outside the door and they hung up. Ordered beef fajita, trompo, and carnitas tacos. The tacos were good. They came with a variety of tasty salsas and onions, grilled onions, and cilantro for topping.

Also ordered a carnitas burrito which was good. It had lettuce and tomato in it which some people do not like.

My one complaint was the carnitas were pretty fatty and were in large chunks. But, otherwise delicious food. The prices were decent and comparable to...
