Casey's Snowballs — Restaurant in Metairie

I go there after work to get that big snowball usually a cream flavor with extra condensed milk all the flavors there are very good and consistent every red light on the way home I'm digging in it and then I'm sad when it's gone. Best snowballs around and I've been to them all I do construction work so I'm all over some times I'll go West Esplanade just to stop there the staff is wonderful polite and quick never a long wait no matter how long the line is but I do think they should open at noon instead of 1 o'clock more people would stop and get a snowball for lunch I had a coconut and cendense milk snowball yesterday one of the best I ever had if your hot and want a refreshing snowball have the lime I'm not joking try it one more thing I've never seen a snowball stand so clean and it stays that way . Definitely have to go to Caseys get the lime or coconut or cream soda my fave and don't forget to tip your server hope this...

This place did not disappoint! We live out-of-town so we dont have the chance to visit all the time. This has not stopped my husband from talking this place up; because it was a place he frequented when he lived in Kenner. We recently drove by and it was open, so we stopped. We ordered 3 snowballs and 1 ice cream-in-a-cup. There was only 1 employee so it took a bit to get serviced. Regardless, once it was our turn the employee was very friendly, even with my kiddos. He was patient and made it a fun experience for all of us. Our treats were delicious, so we all enjoyed what we ordered and ate/drank every last bite/sip. I especially liked how the ice was very soft. Most snowballs ive had do not have SNOW ice so it was a nice surprise. Snowball is ok. I go here only because it’s close to where I live and Hansen is too far of a drive if I crave for something sweet to get near by. Not consistent in price and ice. Sometimes they charge a quarter more sometimes they don’t. If they charge me a quarter more then I don’t tip. If they charge me right I tip way more than a quarter. So it’s their choice whether they want to rip me off or not. If they were smarter, they’ll do the right thing so I don’t care on what they decide on charging me. Ice, sometime it’s chunky and sometimes it’s smooth. The girls are really great and friendly but the guy seems like he hate his job and the world. He’s the one that over charge. With his grumpiness maybe that’s why people don’t tip and he feel the need to charge more. Hahaahah be aware of his dark side....
