Pita Grill & Creperie Metuchen — Restaurant in Metuchen

PROs - food , service , lots of options , location CONs - not much .. a little pricey but fine once in a while .. atleast in this visit nothing much

5 stars .. even though there were some negatives , these guys deserve a 5 star . Superb location . Right in the heart of metuchen , very close to whole foods .. we generally park in whole foods and walk by to this restaurant . Can’t park outside the restaurant. Not sure if there are parking at the rear .. service was good . It was pretty empty when I went , and so the service was quick . I ordered through a terminal. Too many options and takes time to go through the menu .

Lots of tables to sit and dine. Lots of options for vegetarian and vegan food. I ordered a felafel pita wrap and it was delicious . Was a little bit pricey but Ok once a while . Pita wrap was filling ! Nice taste . Baklava was really really good .. loved it . Nice and juicy . I heard from my friend that sshawarmas are good too. Liked it...

I would like to start by saying the food was amazing. Super Duper fresh ingredients, a wide array of choices, and everything was made ruon the spot. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I had a Gyro, which was a beautiful size and packed to the brim. I totally appreciate how they weren't shy with the amount of meat they blessed me with (pause). It was also a nice ratio of onions to lettuce and sauce. The Greek fries were also pretty slamming!! They were not shy with the feta cheese by any means. I was literally ever able to get an abundant amount of feta on each fry that I consumed. The inside of the restaurant was pretty clean as well. they have an exposed kitchen so that you can see your food being prepared if that's your sort of thing, I am not into it personally speaking, but it's still a pretty nice set up. Overall, it was a pleasurable experience and the food was reasonably priced. I cannot wait to return and will definitely recommend...

SO UNDERRATED

After these past years of post-pandemic restaurant experiences I was expecting the usual small portions, high prices, and mediocre food.

I was completely wrong-LARGE portions (we couldn't finish our food), fresh ingredients, and great prices.

The classic gyro (lamb and beef) was huge, stuffed with meat (that was falling out). Bonus points for presentation, it came with a small salad on the side for decoration. $12.00 for all that

The shrimp fajita platter was incredible-at least 8+ pieces of jumbo shrimp + fajita veggies and cheese (hot on the grill), with rice, hot pita, a huge portion of grilled veggies, and a complementary side salad. $20.00 (enough for 2 people)

They have a variety of pita, platter, chicken sandwich, burger, salad, and crepe options that I will be coming back to try.

Also very clean...
