If you love ice cream you MUST come to What's the scoop.

What's good: Dozens (literally) of ice cream flavors homemade and really good. Different sizes for cups and waffle cones. They also have soft ice cream, but only in chocolate, vanilla and swirl flavors. They have milkshakes and other carbonates drinks They have ice cream cakes to order and on the go They have a separate area for parties They have pizza and hot dogs. The pizza is really good and at a great price! They have high chairs They have few seating outdoors The classic look is comfy and the staff is courteous.

What can be improved: Sometimes some of your favorite ice cream flavors may not be ready yet (or they may be out of it) if you really want that flavor, might as well give them a call. There are plenty of table and seats, but it can get crowded on busy days. If it gets crowded there may be a line. Ice cream shouldn't be a problem, but if you want a pizza as well, you may want to call ahead.

What a great place. The ice cream 🍦 🍨 is delicious! This family run ice cream shop is fantastic. The owners make the ice cream themselves onsite and if you have any allergies they will offer you a list of ice creams that contain soy or gluten so you can choose wisely. They also offer a variety of vegan flavors and go far and above to ask if you want them to open a new container in order to avoid allergens. They have been very thoughtful about their menu. For someone who loves ice cream, but who doesn't want to suffer the consequences afterward, "What's the Scoop" is Top Notch. If this review was solely based on quality of the ice cream I would have given 5 stars no question. This place has amazing value and the quality of the ice cream and flavors were superb. However my main issue has to do with the lack of hygiene with the workers. The person serving the ice cream wasn't wearing any gloves and his knuckles were coated in ice cream. In addition he did not wash his hands in between customers. Lastly as we were finishing up our ice cream I noticed a hair in the ice cream which I just threw out. Despite all of this I would still come back here due to the fact this place has amazing value and quality of ice cream.
