This is the ONLY Starbucks I've been too (and I've been to 100s across the country) that absolutely will not add the extra caramel sauce that I ask for in my Frappe. Since they've been open, they cannot understand that when I say extra extra caramel, it means more than a little dollop around the cup. I've had other stores tell me "when you place your order, for the extra extra caramel you're seeking, tell the employee to "line the cup" and they'll understand what you want!" OK. Noted! So, I've tried to convey THAT to the employees at the Mexia location. And every time, they tell me at the register "ok sure! Got it!" Then it gets down the line to the actual person making it- and they read the sticky label with directions- get everything else right about the drink- but they will not add ANY extra caramel. This week, same scenario. Except this time- the gal told me I had to speak to the Mgr about getting extra caramel. She finally came over, asked what the problem was, and proceeded to tell me the amount she gave me was the "Starbucks standard". So I politely asked if she knew what the term "line the cup" meant bc that's what other stores had told me to ask for.. and she just argued that a little swirly swirl was their company standard(funny..other company stores do not seem to have this standard). I said ok- but if I pay you EXTRA $ for EXTRA caramel...... can you not give me extra?! I have had ONE store in the past tell me extra was extra $. And I had zero problems with that! And the Mgr says "nope. I can't do that either. We measure our inventory with the 3 swirl standard. If I gave you extra it would throw my inventory off". Her EXACT words!
I have NEVER in my life been to any store as a paying customer, and been told "no- you can't buy extra"š³
I've given grace to this store/employees alllllll year long bc they are a new store.. Paying $7 for a subpar frappe that they never even seem to WANT to try & get right. I even started going INTO the store instead of the drive-thru as to kindly explain that I want extra caramel..It does no good.
This store has just lost a customer. I live just as close to another town with a Starbucks as I do this particular location/town- I'll make it a point to go there from now on. They understand my order every time I've ever...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been so excited for our little town to open a Starbucks BUT to my disappointment they close at 9pm. I'm sure there are a lot of people that enjoy there coffee in the morning but there is a lot of us that work nights and would love to indulge in some amazing Starbucks at night on our shift. As I pulled into Starbucks tonight at 9:40pm there was 2 other cars leaving headed to work. When I arrived at work all everyone could talk about was how disappointed they was about Starbucks closing at 9pm and there for leaving us out of being able to enjoy there amazing coffee. I am not saying they should have Whataburger hour but it would be nice to fill like they took all of us into consideration before closing at 9pm when a lot of people don't live or come into town before 9:30pm. There for I am giving them 3 stars and that is ONLY for there amazing coffee that I hope one day to get to enjoy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe ordering process was confusing. We went in to order. It was slow one worker working the window and front counter and another worker doing only mobile orders and he let me know I was in the wrong line to place an order. The counter person was working on my order and then another customer came in and the worker walked away from my order before it was finished. Then the guy from mobile order came over and said your order is ready and only one drink was ready and we were still waiting for the 2nd drink. He rudely put it on counter. My drink was a salted caramel cold brew the drink was not sweet. Had to wait to get home to add sweetener. The atmosphere was not friendly at all so I did not feel comfortable asking for sweetener. This was my first time ever at this location. I don't think I'll be...
