Terrible experience and food. Went there last night with my husband and friends. Friend ordered a Perone and the server said they were out. Husband ordered spaghetti Bolognese and they were out. Five minutes after we put in our modified order, another server said they were out of what my friend had ordered, lasagne! Then came out again 5 min later to tell my other friend they were out of what she ordered. Declared matter of factory that last night was Valentine’s Day, they got busy and are now out of most of the menu. We should’ve left then, server wasn’t very pleasant. We finally got our order, I’m the only one that got my first choice. My food was good. My husband’s tuna was over cooked and dry but he ate it all, hungry. My one friend’s order was terrible, she ate one bite. The server asked how everything was and my friend said her food was not good. The server seemed annoyed and said I can tell them to make you another one. My friend said no. I didn’t say anything about my husband’s tuna because he did eat it all. We asked for the check. Then we complained they did not take off my friend’s food that she didn’t eat at all. After that, they took it off. If they were out of food, something should’ve been said when we sat down. Bad service. Mediocre food but not mediocre prices. Maybe they were just having a bad night but it was our first and...
Read moreGreat food, great services, great atmosphere. We happened to go when there was DJ playing. I don’t know why hired DJ’s tend to BLAST music to a room of 12 people eating like we were in a club, not the vibe dude. Outside of that, the atmosphere was very cool and the services was excellent, almost as good as the food!
Unfortunately, this probably will be far from our first choice. The parking in the surrounding area is contracted be Tremont towing, who is extremely predatory. We had an issue and were lucky enough to catch it and get dropped before getting towed, but I can tell it’s a huge issue to the surrounding businesses. It’s unfortunate to the small business owners because I’m sure we aren’t the only ones who will avoid the area now. It’s hard to justify going to eat when it’s easy for it to turn in to a $500+ night. Tremont Towing seems to be more a nuisance and burden to the immediate communities and businesses than a help. Best of luck to the business owners, hope there is a way to for them to come together to fight this towing company that is taking away...
Read moreI hate ti say it but I was extremely disappointed with the experience. From start to end the service and kitchen failed to deliver. We ordered 2 appetizers and an entree, food came out before the drinks. We never got the water we first ordered until I asked again during the last course. The vitello tonnato (beef carpaccio with tuna mayonnaise) was fully cooked instead of seared. The meatballs came out cold, I was surprised but we ate them anyways. Then the seafood ravioli came out cold as well, I asked for the dish to be made again. Came out barely warmer and I realized this restaurant doesn’t heat the dishes!! They also use shrimp 3 sizes smaller than advertised (3 measly tiny shrimp). We arrived at 8:45 and the “entertainment” (a girl who could barely sing) started closer to 10pm. The staff seemed to be so stressed all night (even though they were fully staffed) everyone was making faces huffing and puffing. Our server profusely apologized for the mistakes but at the end it was a mediocre meal and...
