We went there tonight for the first time. Fries were delish. The kids burgers were almost all bread. This smallish burger sitting in the middle of the thick hard bun with two tiny strips of cheese and a tiny squirt of ketchup on one small corner. We were looking forward to steak salad but they were out. Bummer. So I had the salmon quinoa salad. There was no quinoa. Salmon was raw, it was good. There’s is zero service. You order your food from a confusing small font menu, pay, and sit down. They call you from the speakers when food is ready and that’s it. So every time you need something you have to get up.
I had to get up to ask for the quinoa that was supposed to be in the salad in the first place. Then for salt and ketchup. Then had to get up to get more salad dressing and then more ketchup for the kids. They fill those condiment containers halfway, really? Can’t they fill them up to the top so customers don’t need to keep getting up and interrupting the cooks every time we need something?
The cooks don’t even look at you, it’s almost like they’re not even there. They seem a bit clueless and don’t speak any English. I’m happy to see what I assume to be newcomers into this country work etc. It’s a reminder of what a great place the USA is. I just wish they were more aware of customers needs.
I gave three stars because the fries were really good, We had two salads, two kids meals that came with fries, two sodas, another side of fries and a bottle of wine for 62$ These days that’s not bad. Also because the cashier was nice, the cooks were nice too just not aware of me standing there for a long time until the cashier got their attention. It tells me they have no real system or organization. Overall it was a nice experience but I may or may not come back. They need to have condiments easily accessible. Or they need to...
Read moreI checked in to Montaditos to redeem a $5 dollar Reward as a regular customer. In addition to a birthday invitation (which rang on my phone at 2 am). As soon I arrived they questioned my identity and the veracity of the advertisement. They made me enter my credit card to double check on my Rewards. In the middle of the transaction with my card inside the Card reader, they offered me to hold my transaction to serve first the only costumer behind me, which I refused because I was first for a reason. I suggested using the second cashier available and being served by other employees standing by. The employee decided anyway to give priority to the person behind me, which caused the costumer to disrespect me by ordering me to get off. Against my will, he took me away. At the suggestion of the employee, I decided to leave and asked for my card and my Refund because they had already charged my American Express card for a service that I had not consumed but they denied me the Refund on the receipt. I asked to speak to the owner but he also refused. Provoking another costumer who was eating to come towards me alleging that with my Refund claim I was making the other costumers uncomfortable. They exposed me to the anger of people twice. In my opine, this can be projected as a scam or a false advertisement to attract clients or steal clients. In short, the indiscipline of people at these businesses are importing misery from countries they are...
Read moreFirst time here. Seating available inside and out. Chill atmosphere. Order is placed at the entry Bar/order counter. Buzzer issued to notify when food is ready. I ordered a traditional tabla española, a side of olives and a smaller portion of chicken wings with a single serving of sangria.
The wait time was minimal. Everything was fresh. The Sangria is served when the order is placed. The flavor had the right balance of taste and body, very enjoyable. The bread warm and delicate. La tabla was delicious and the olives 🫒 were on point! Chicken wings is not what I would typically pair with a meal like this but I’m a wing guy and wanted to try.
The wings came out crispy well cooked. I would say deep fried and I was really surprised by the overall taste on its own with no sauce, flavorful. The buffalo sauce is traditional which is simply perfect.
Overall I would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The meal as shown with one drink and tip was under $40 Well worth it!
Next time your in Miami Lakes stop in for an...
