Part 2 (I deleted the first part to try and put it past me) but once again my experience at jersey mikes cannot go unnoticed. Today 12/05/23 I enter the store on my lunch break either a valid coupon. I enter the store enter the line order the sub, wait in line they make the sandwich. And when I go to pay they refused to accept the coupon because I wrote a negative (but truthful) review on the actions of the General Manager. A jersey mikes coupon accepted at any location, and they refuse to accept it because it was me. So not only did they waste my time, but my lunch break, and gas.
Dear Caesar Saucedo (The franchise owner) I wish I can give a zero star review, but one star will have to make do. I will make it very clear, the food at jersey mikes it's delicious, fresh, and well made. Everyone working at JM are attentive, friendly, and provide great customer service. HOWEVER the problem isn't with the workers. It's the General Manager, who constantly gives me attitude EVERY TIME I visit, talks to me in a rude manner, EVERYTIME | VISIT, so I said enough is enough and spoke to him, face to face on why does he have to give me attitude when all I do is smile but The general manager Named JOSE CASTILLO at Jersey mikes located at Miami Lakes decided to just stay silent and not speak. So I left the restaurant. I decided to just move on from it, but this is the LAST STRAW, on 11/27/23 I was eating a sub and guess who comes to my table and stacks Dorito chips on my sandwich, THE GM NAMED JOSE and then pours honey mustard all over my sub and forcing me to have to throw it away, and LET ME ADD HE DID NOT MAKE ME A NEW SUB. I love this restaurant, I love the workers here, I love the food, but I'm tired of getting treated with disrespect from the GM. I really hope some action comes out of this review. Read moreThis is my 2nd experience and my parents 1st experience dining on Jersey Mike's Subs. And let me tell you, we weren't disappointed 😃😃😃 We especially LOVE the freshly sliced meat and cheese! My Dad said: "I can taste the difference between freshly sliced meat and meat that has been presliced & sitting in a chiller. The meat proportion is very good. This is good stuff!" My Mom's thoughts: "This is A1 here! Jersey Mike's has an instant fan. It's a bit expensive, but my sub was worth every penny!" We all ordered 'Giant' cold subs so we would have leftovers (#7 Turkey and Provolone, #13 The Original Italian, #1 BLT). We visited during lunch hours, 1:30pm-1:42pm. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by 3 Essential Workers in different stations, 2 making subs and 1 sanitizing. The restaurant was spotless and smelled like good food, very inviting to the senses. All Essential Workers were properly dressed with gloves as needed, and seemed to like each other, smiling, laughing, encouraging, and helping each other when assistance was needed. Seeing this made me feel at ease and safe. We didn't dine-in, but the seating was at safe distances for Covid regulations. After paying for my order, I was given this send-off by my Essential cashier: "Enjoy, be safe, & we hope to see you again! 🙂" as she handed me my bag. I’ve been going to this jersey Mike’s for Years and I’ve seen so much improvement since the first time I’ve ever gone and there is one person that works his butt of every single time I enter the store… The GM Jose Castillo, he is so interactive with the customers, he makes my sub perfect every single time, when any of his employees needs a hand he’s right there to help! Trust me when I say this out of all Jersey Mike’s this one is my favorite and for anyone that wants some freshly sliced meat, fresh vegetables, and bread you better go to Jersey Mikes… they blow the rest of the sub shops out...
