My sister came from London with the wish to go to eat at Bocas Grill. She follows them on Instagram and she couldn’t wait to dine there. So we went there after picking up her and her kids up from the Miami airport.
We had the appetizer plater, the one with mini empanadas, tequeños, arepitas fritas, queso de mano, and the guasacaca injection. It was a delicious way to start our dinner feast there.
I had patacon llanero, it was made with fresh plaintans (not every restaurant does that) and all the layers it had were delicious; the juices were amazing as well.
My nice had the cachapas (OMG so good!), I make cachapas at home, but you can’t buy the queso de mano and the nata they put on top. My daughter had the picanha and my mother the skewers sampler. All the meats were well-seasoned and super tender. My sister and nephew shared the Christmas platter; the pan de jamon and the hallacas were well made and super delicious. The bread from the pan de jamon reminded me of the cachitos bread from La Rocarena in La Carlota, so good!
We also got uncooked tequeños, along with queso de mano and queso Guayanes to take home, what a treat!
Our only regret was having no space for dessert, next time we will for sure!
Our waitress Gina (or Gigi?) took great care of us as well! It was a great dining experience!
They have ample parking space and the staff are super friendly and nice!
Thank you so much for such...

The food was truly delicious. I opted for the Arepita sampler to start, and it was a perfect choice—so tasty and gave me a wonderful hint of the amazing flavors to come with my main course. Everything was clearly made with care, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. I was really impressed by the quality and taste of every dish.
The service was exceptional, too! The staff was super attentive, friendly, and really made sure I had everything I needed. They even offered some great recommendations from their extensive menu, which has so many amazing options it's hard to choose! Their guidance made my dining experience even better.
And let's not forget dessert – the milkshakes were presented beautifully and tasted incredible, and the brownie I had was super good. It was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal.
