I have mixed feelings about this place. I've been going here semi-frequently for about two years, and their cafe-related quality primarily relies on who is working. They have great coffee and a large tea selection. They only serve food, however, until 1130am, and what they do serve is very simple. I have no problems with simplicity, but I'm vegan and have had a very odd time with their tofu scramble. The first few times (about a year ago) I tried their tofu scramble a la carte and it was AMAZING. I recently ordered the full breakfast (comes with eggs and toast) which is $6 on the menu - I of course replaced the eggs with tofu scramble and they proceeded to, without mention of this by mouth or on the menu, charge me the $6 plus a la carte price of the tofu scramble. I thought okay, that isn't like the most ridiculous thing ever, so whatever. It was really bad though and I instantly regretted it, which is unfortunate because I love the atmosphere of the place as well as their deli sandwiches and vegan cookies. They have so many different tea and coffee options (as well as wine and alcohol, I suppose), but I will not be returning hungry. I'd recommend food there if you eat eggs, though, because I've heard good things about their non-vegan food. In general, I will be sticking to tea and coffee here!
