O&E's Corner Cone — Restaurant in Miami Township

This is a cute ice cream shop that does have a few options for those who can’t eat dairy (like me). Otherwise, this is a great place for everyone else who CAN eat dairy! LOL They also sell bottled water (putting that here just in case someone needs water while walking around YS in the heat or during a festival). The staff was friendly and service was fast.

My reason for the lower star rating was the state of the patio. Their patio could be improved (see my last picture): 1) add more umbrellas & shade coverings (see red areas), 2) pick up litter strewn around, 3) pull weeds and trim hedges. A cute patio that is inviting would bring in more business, which means more money! Think of it like this: use the money from the next 20 to 30 people in line to only go towards improving the patio. That money would be made quickly here, especially on a hot day. That plus a little elbow grease, which can be free, would make this...

Charged $.75 for each ice water and was never told of this charge. "We have been doing it for years" was the owner's reply. OK... Charged $.50 each time my card was run and was never notified. Two times I swiped it. Once for our meal, once for dessert. I open my bank account online to find these extra charges. I hardly come here anyways. The food and ice cream is very overpriced. Go to Young's. For the same cost of Corner Cone's basic mix soft serve, you can get one dip of real ice cream. They won't be receiving my patron-ship ever again. I don't know if something happened recently to this place or what, but the last 3 times I've been here, they've been out of popular/common menu items, or have slacked on orders. They've been out of vegan ice cream/milk the last two times I've been here, which is the whole reason I come here (regular milk bothers my stomach). Then I ordered a California Dog which has always been phenomenal in the past, and all that came out to me was a hot dog on a singular slice of lettuce with diced tomatoes on it, sandwiched in between a soggy bun. Just really disappointed and wish they'd keep track of the ingredients they need for the day and step up on their food game like...
