Waffle House — Restaurant in Miami Township

What should I say, this was bad. Placed and order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 20 mins, so I get there to pickup the order and I'm told they just got hit with bunch of people who showed up (there were 5 tables seated), and it would be another 10 mins. Ok, no big deal. 10 mins come and go, and nothing... finally after standing there for 25 mins, I hear the waiter start reading my order to the cook. A few mins later food gets done and the waiter tells me my bill, and I ask can I get a discount for waiting so long and the cook goes off on me saying "what's the problem you got hot food", to which I reply "an hour later". There was no discount, the girl working did say sorry for your wait, but the cook kept making comments at least you got hot food. Then to top it off, get home and 3 of 4 meals ordered had something wrong/missing. So needless to say I will not be going back to...

My fiance and I came into the restaurant most of the tables still had stuff on them from previous customers We sat down it took Terra 5-10 minutes to acknowledge that we were there took our order got about 15min later the food was chilled Terra didn’t even bother to check on Us to see how things were and to see if we needed refills. And ordinarily they bring our check early We realize it got busy but we deserved better customer service we have been coming there every Sunday for over a month Now giving excellent tips But this time Terra when they weren’t too busy talking still didn’t check on Us and Terra got nasty them taking payment at the counter and then proceeded to get nasty and pulled the sign down about paying here after we didn’t give them a tip Why GIVE A TIP WHEN We receive Such...

A year ago I left a 3 star review. Today? I had one of the best Waffle House experiences yet :) Bill. This is "Bill's Waffle House" if you were to look it up on "Touch Tunes" [google it!] ... and it certainly is. William, aka Bill, who's been mgr/WH employee since 2008 was our server. This man made the visit. The food was on point, the atmosphere was upbeat and nearly all inclusive, the service? Quite possibly the best I've ever had at a waffle house. Honestly, if I thought my 45 year old body could do the job, that man is definitely someone I would enjoy working for. [Hey, Bill, I forgot what I was supposed to tell your wife, but tell her I said it anyway!] The banter, the music, the laughter, smiles and great food...worth playing hooky to...
