Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Miami Township

I made an order for two large pizza specials at exactly 6:15 pm on Sept 27, 2025, from my telephone. I spoke with an associate about what I wanted and my intent to pick it up 15 minutes later after I got off work, which was 6:30. I arrived exactly at 6:30 at the Milford, Ohio, location to pay for my pizzas and a two-liter bottle of Pepsi. When I walked up to the counter, the same person I spoke to on the phone seemed confused about the order and then began requesting my phone number and order information. I was annoyed by this because I had already given this information over the phone while at work. Nevertheless, your associate seemed not to listen to what I was saying, and I had to repeat myself multiple times about the order and particularly about adding the two-liter bottle of Pepsi, which the associate forgot to add to the pizza, and I had to recharge my credit card for. Then after 5 minutes, and not seeing my pizza even coming near out of the oven, I inquired whether my pizza was made during our conversation over the phone. Your associate lied to me about it being in the oven when in fact they were just starting to make it while I had already assumed after my phone conversation that it was. I abruptly demanded a refund and exited the store in anger over the experience. This was the worst experience I have ever encountered at this location...

This old dude delivers pizza to my son at night. Every time he comes, he's extremely impatient and rude. I know my son tips the guy because I work for tips and I taught him how to tip appropriately AND my son's a nice guy. My son works 2nd shift and counts his calories and orders from here a lot because he already knows the calories and it's easy. But it doesn't matter what time it is. The dude is rude no matter what. The first time, he knocked on my door like he was a cop; I thought he was going to break in. The second time, he yelled at me and told me he had to get back to mop his floors. The third time, he didn't even knock, just stood there and I happened to notice him there. The last time he came, he knocked on the door. I'm literally sitting right here next to the door and he knocks like he's going to break in again. My son takes about half a minute to answer the door and he yells at my son telling him he was about to set it down. I hate to write this review, but this dude shouldn't be doing this job. He's RUDE!! I wish I knew if he was going to deliver or if he was going to push it over to doordash. I would tell my son to stiff him. That's what he deserves....

Been a while since I've ventured into Donatos. Not really sure why...? Had the lunch special: single topping personal pizza, salad and drink for $10. Salad was freshly premade, but unremarkable. Pizza was better, LOADED with pepperoni, even though it was thinly sliced. Good flavor. Pizza sauce has a different spice in it than I'm used to (perhaps a combination of spices), but was pleasant. Place was kinda dark inside, and no signage was on when I pulled up just a few minutes after noon, so wasn't 100% certain they were open, but indeed they were. TV on 1 wall was not conveniently placed except for a few seats to see. No sound on anyway, nor was any music playing. Kinda like they don't really expect ppl to come in to eat any more. (2 couples also came in for dine-in after me.) That was my experience. Can't say it was typical, but certainly nothing to make me want to go back to try again, given all of the pizza choices available nearby. Maybe this is why I haven't been in a...
