I was passing through and saw the restaurant so I decided to stop for lunch. After I ordered, I realized that the traffic was going to get really bad, so I asked to take it to go instead. While I waited, I saw a pastelito de queso in the food warmer so I ordered one to eat while I waited. Wow!!!!! The best I've ever had in my life! They gave me my food, a Cuban sandwich, and then left. I got on the already busy highway heading north and because I hate to eat while I drive, I thought I'd wait to get home. But the aroma of it caused my hunger to explode, so I ate it as I drove. It was sooo good, I was afraid I wasn't gonna be able to keep my full mind on the road. Absolutely delicious! The girl that served me was very kind and hospitable, something unusual in Miami, where customer service is very lacking, especially in the mainly Latino areas around Miami (and pretty much all SoFla). I am Latino, and it really is not just infuriating, but also embarrassing to see their attitude. But this is a topic for another time, another place. Next time I'm near downtown Miami, I'll definitely go back, if anything, for at least a half dozen pastelitos de queso (cheese pastries).
