I’ve traveled all OVER OKLAHOMA and never have I been so shocked by the actions of a Restaurant Staff Member. If you’re traveling down Route 66 I don’t recommend stopping here! Honestly, if I could give this place a 0 Star Review, I would! The staff was rude and very unaccommodating when we came in and sat down. Apparently it was closing time and the waitress bit our heads off that we the “out of towners” didn’t realize they were closed at 2pm on Memorial Day Weekend. The open sign was still on when we arrived and not once did the lady at the register mention they were closed as we were sitting ourselves. After sitting at the booth a few minutes we were approached by the problem waitress and were told that we’d need to leave since they closed at 2pm. We asked if there was anywhere else that we could eat in town and she snapped that there was Mexican food next door. Rightly disappointed by the attitude of the waitress to a new potential patron, we mentioned we’d be leaving a review. Problem waitress called us rude and proceeded to follow us out of the establishment and told us that we could fill out an application if we wanted them to stay open longer. We told her we simply didn’t know it was closing time and we were not aware. If this is how they treat tourists in Miami, I don’t suggest that you eat here as their might ruin your day by their awful attitudes. I highly suggest that you go to the Otter Stop instead. The Staff at the Otter Stop were friendly, the food is delicious and they delivered excellent customer service to us. Don’t eat at...

My husband and I stopped in this morning for breakfast. This was our first time here. We walked in and sat at a booth. It took about 4 minutes before anyone came to us. The waitress came over and took our order for drinks. When she returned with our drinks, she dropped them and left. She came back about 3-4 minutes later only to tell us that it will be about 5 minutes before she can take our order, because she has to take the order of a group of 8 at a table next to us. Now let me explain that when we walked in, there were only 2 out of the party of 8 that were sitting there. The rest did not show up till after she took our drink order. But we were the ones that had to wait for her to get the oder of the 8 people. After we got our food, I asked for some ketchup. She walked off. But the table next to us caught her and needed something too. So she went to the kitchen with whatever the other table needed, and never came back with what I asked for. So, I got tired of waiting, I walked to the kitchen and asked someone in there myself. Then, when I went to the front to pay, I had to stand there for about 5 or so minutes. Then the waitress we had came up , because now there is 4 people needing to pay, and she asked if she had to do everything, except get ketchup?! I paid and left!!

Overall, a very...

Well, work has me in Oklahoma this week. Miami, Oklahoma, to be exact. So, as I often do when visiting a new city or town, I try a local Mom & Pop restaurant. So my partner Jordan on this trip suggested "BUTTERED BUNS" do to its reviews and posted pics. I have to say this was a great choice. From the moment we walked in, we were greater with that small town hospitality as if we were locals. We started by ordering Fried Mushrooms and Fried Pickles. They were both really good. Both came with Ranch and their very own dipping sauce they called O-Sauce. Ranch is Ranch, but the O-Sauce was something you could poison me with. I highly suggest bottling it up and selling this stuff. It's hard to decribe other than to say DELISH!!! I ordered the breaded or as they call them Fried Pork Chops with Mashed Taters and Corn for sides. My meal was outstanding. My partner ordered the hamburger or chopped steak. It was orded Medium Rare, and unfortunately, it was served more rare than either of us would have liked. Our server was the sweet and bubbly Mercedes. She was extremely sweet and on point. To sum it all up, I highly recommend Buttered Buns. I gave them 4 stars only due to the Chop Steak being undercooked. Will definitely come back if I ever find myself in Miami,...

We were passing through from out of town and found this place on google maps. We arrived at 10am on Father's Day and found seats right away. The waitresses were very nice and friendly and kept our coffee and waters filled, even though it was very busy. The place was small but clean and had a home feeling. I ordered the Mishmash with onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms with a side of hot cakes. I added salt and pepper and it was delicious! The portions were large and I ended up taking half of mine home. My husband had the pork chops and eggs with a side of a biscuit and gravy and he loved it! He had the pan cooked pork chops and they were seasoned well and nice and thick. The biscuits and pancakes were also nice and big! We had 6 people in our group and everyone left happy and stuffed. We all agreed that if we're ever on Miami, OK again, we will definitely return to Buttered Bunn's Cafe.

Buttered Bunns is a great place! The service team (Lisa!) Was courteous, happy, and caring, and the food was over the top great! I had a fried pork chop. That is a pork chop that is battered and then deep-fried! Tender and moist, and perfect! That breakfast comes with eggs any style (I had over easy), hashbrowns (possibly the most crispy, beautiful hashbrowns, I have ever had), and biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was light and fluffy. The gravy was just the right combination of rich and savory. Service was super fast, prices were super reasonable. Bottom is cup of coffee and I’m good to go! Access is super easy off of Route 66 and there is plenty of parking in the small lot directly adjacent to the restaurant. This is a must stop breakfast place! PS I did not have the pancakes or the fried beef patty but man that beef patty look delicious

Buttered Buns is your typical small town ma and pa cafe with home cooked food and breakfast all day. Their rolls are delicious! I had meatloaf and it was really good. The brown gravy was a little thin and didn't have a lot of flavor. I took a bite of my wife's biscuit and gravy and it wasn't great but she seemed to enjoy it fine. My daughter has a cheeseburger that was good. They have hand cut fries that are usually good but today they were a bit soggy. Service was decent. They were well staffed. A good experience overall and we will definitely be back if we're in the area.
